Who is surprised by the court’s decision to remove Hope Uzodimma as the APC’s senatorial candidate for Imo West?
🇳🇬 A constitutional question Nigerians should be discussing: How can a sitting state governor contest for a Senate seat while his tenure as governor is still running?
Governor Hope Uzodimma’s tenure as Imo State governor is expected to run until January 2028, yet he has secured the APC ticket to contest the Imo West senatorial seat in 2027

Benue is happy President @officialABAT is doing wonders.
Now, I look forward to receiving a TIV name befitting my new traditional title. What a profound honour.
Thank you Benue for the warmth, hospitality and goodwill.
I remain confident in Nigeria’s capacity to rise to its full potential. Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our nation is undertaking important reforms aimed at strengthening the economy, restoring national confidence, and laying the foundations for sustainable growth and shared prosperity. These efforts require patience, collective responsibility, and a steadfast commitment to the Nigerian people.
As we navigate this important chapter in our national journey, we must continue to build bridges across our ethnic, cultural, and regional differences, united by our common aspirations for peace, progress, and prosperity.
Thank you, Benue, for the love and honour. May our beautiful Nigeria continue to move forward in unity, dignity, and renewed hope.

The Alternative.
People have a lot to learn about breakups and separation. Not every relationship that ends has to end in bitterness, resentment, or hostility.
Sometimes, two people simply grow apart, choose different paths, or realise they are better off apart
#Abdulsamad is a man whose place in the history of #Nigeria is matched only by the magnitude of his service to humanity, a pillar of strength to #Africa a hero to his community, and a blessing to all whose lives he has touched.

Being poor does not make you a sinner, and being rich does not make you holy. Our worth before God is not measured by the money in our pockets, but by our faith, character, and relationship with Him.
There were many faithful and righteous people in the Bible who experienced poverty, proving that wealth is not a measure of righteousness or godliness. Lazarus was a righteous poor man
“Poverty is a sign of ungodliness. To be poor means there is sin in your life. If you are poor you are a sinner… Never trust the holiness of a poor man. You can’t have a girlfriend, you can’t even afford it… Poverty is why Judas sold Jesus. Money problem led Christ to the cross. Money problem in the life of Judas is why Jesus was nailed to the cross”

Dayo Israel and his mummy Remi Tinubu has just shown Nigerians how governance works in this country: tell the people to make sacrifices, burden them with more taxes, while those in power continue to spend lavishly on yachts, private jets, mansions, solar-powered electricity, and exotic cars.
The real issue is the contrast between the sacrifices demanded of ordinary Nigerians and the lifestyle those in power refuse to give up
