it's so funny being a comic fan and being friends with people who aren't comic fans cause I'll be yapping and naming years and specific runs bc of course I know all that and they'll just be like "damn she's pulling out the exact years and titles again"

As an ao3 author, here's my take on the strange discourse going around about stories being shared on drives:
I wrote it for free, I put it on the internet for free, I assumed that meant people were reading, sharing, and downloading for free
If I published a book, my expectation

WEEKSS???
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/
TWELVE?? HOURS?? WHY DIDNT I KNOW ABOUT THIS THERE WAS NO WARNING I DONT HAVE ANY FICS READY AND DOWNLOADED
#AO3 maintenance is in progress. We expect it to take at least 12 hours, but it may take longer. We will provide updates as necessary. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/incidents/g12j…
like I collect tps and omnis but there are so many comics that I want to read that I don't have access to bc they aren't apart of any tps or if they are they aren't in printing anymore so it would cost me like over $100 for one small tpb that would have originally cost me $12-$16

Just some nice old memories. #timkon #TimKon #dccomics
#timdrake trying to get his boy scout #connerkent back.
ayyy that first ones me :)) anyways this whole thing is really well put together and interesting. as someone who enjoys and finds all of these characters interesting in their own ways I find it intriguing to see how other people view each of them as well
