If you want my vote in an election, you will have to demonstrate the conviction, forethought and fortitude to advocate for conservative values independent of Trump, the GOP, or anyone else.
Parties and movements should be a means to promote good ideas, not a substitute for them.
An @X idea that would be cool is if posts in a thread could automatically including a thread header linking to the first post of the thread when they are reposted on the home feed or someone’s timeline (including the first post itself, as an invitation to see the others). Then people wouldn’t necessarily feel the need to start threads with a post identifying it as a thread for you to look at, or including things like (1/5) or a thread title in every post to tell you to see the other posts in the thread, and it would make it easy to start at the top if something does sound interesting.

Kristan, I'm not an abolitionist. I went to your event at GVSU with the goal of having a respectful conversation with you about whether the majority of women who have abortions are "second-victims" and whether that rhetoric is helpful to the anti-abortion movement.
You refused to speak with me, and when I went to the mic when there was no one there and no line, you instructed your staffers "Don't talk to him. Ignore him."
After someone tried to talk to you (they were not even with me), there were two minutes where no one was at the mic. You preferred sitting in silence under the "Prove Me Wrong" tent to actually engaging with me, someone who has done anti-abortion activism on that campus multiple days this year, and who was seeking a good-faith dialogue.
The only thing that broke the silence was when one of your staffers went to the mic to ask you a question.
Calling people who disagree with you about the second victim narrative "Westboro Baptist types" is slanderous and only pushes more people to become abolitionists.
You also said, "I don't talk with Westboro Baptists" to the first student who tried to respectfully talk with you. That student did not deserve to be called that, and you know it.
He showed no signs of malice whatsoever, and you shut down your conversation with him in seconds, even though there was no line behind him. I cannot speak for that student, but my understanding is he agrees with me that incremental legislation is not necessarily sinful.
I disagree with abolitionists about incrementalism and have made lengthy, well-researched videos arguing against them. You destroy all that work when you shut down sincere conversations about the second-victim narrative. Doing so only drives people to become abolitionists.
Maybe you should consider learning from Charlie Kirk, who spoke with me about this very issue at MSU last year in a very respectful 5-minute conversation, where I immediately left when he said the conversation was over.
Refusing to talk with anyone who is not in lock-step with your precise pro-life rhetoric only pushes people away from the pro-life moment. Perhaps you could have used today to model the open-mindedness that you desire pro-choicers to have.
While I consider it unlikely you will ever model the open-mindedness we should want in political debate, if you have a change of heart, you can DM me, and we can set up a good-faith discussion in the future.

Tucker: PLEASE don’t blame Vance for things Trump does. I really want to own a president someday.
Donald Trump committed political suicide by endorsing Benjamin Netanyahu for reelection. JD Vance is not following him off the cliff.
Today's daily news briefing reports on the vice president steering clear of joining his boss in bed with Netanyahu, Elon Musk pledging to give SpaceX stock to millions of American children, the irony of two small-market teams making the World Series, and more.

Rather than saying I’ll never vote for Vance (although I certainly understand Raylan’s sentiment), I prefer to put pressure on Vance to reject his toxic friend.
The time may come when we NEED to vote for Vance.
At this point, I won’t vote for him in the primary unless I see MUCH more moral clarity and courage.
However, I’d likely vote for him in a general.
I can’t imagine a Dem frontrunner who wouldn’t torch our country, even if Vance has disappointed me of late.
⭕️ I have voted Republican my entire life. I have NEVER voted for a Democrat, and I voted for Donald Trump three times. But let me be absolutely clear: If JD Vance is the Republican nominee in 2028, I will NOT vote for him. Period. I cannot bring myself to vote for the Democratic Party either, so I will sit that election out. And I strongly suspect I won't be alone. Many Jewish and Zionist voters who supported Trump and the GOP may face the same decision.
After October 7, the safety of Jews, the fight against antisemitism, and support for Israel are not negotiable issues for me. My loyalty to the Republican Party has its limits. My loyalty to the Jewish people does not. The GOP should never assume that decades of loyalty guarantee a vote in 2028 if Vance is the nominee.

Just because you can clone an app with AI does not mean software is dead. Quite often instead of solving your problem, you are instead feeling the rush of creating something. Which is fine. I love that feeling too. But using a $200 subscription to clone a worse version of a $50 app does not make sense for most people.
Building good software is about designing solutions for a problem. It's about design decisions; systems design, technical design, interface design, etc. It’s almost more important choosing what not to build than what to build. Getting AI to clone an app that another team has put all the effort into making these decisions does not mean you made an app. It’s like 3D printing something and saying you created it when instead someone else spent the time creating the model and you used technology to reproduce it.
I understand using another app as inspiration for your solution. We have done this for years. But you need to have your own take on solving the problem; bring something new to the table.
It’s incredible that non technical people can now create tools to solve their problems or even just express their creativity more! Software is not dead, it is very much alive. I’d argue it’s one of the most exciting times to be a developer, however, cloning another app does not make you a developer.
I like open-source when it’s good, but I don’t at all mind using and supporting proprietary apps with a local-first vision that I can get behind, and I would put Obsidian as a model product in that regard.
It can be very difficult for an open source project to maintain a high-quality UX (that doesn’t seem like disparate ideas thrown together), good performance, and a clear vision for the direction of the project. I would say Obsidian does great at all three, and is improving all the time.
Of all the proprietary software out there, Obsidian seems like it would be at the bottom of the priority list to recreate as open-source — its local-first, free, and extensible in every way imaginable. But hey, the neat thing about the design of @obsdmd is that they hand the keys to the user when it comes to your data and don’t make you rely on them being around forever, so to each their own.
Tucker doesn't care how accurate his framing of "neocons" is, who counts as one, or how well his claims about what they want can be substantiated. Of course Shapiro does not want the U.S. involved in **nuclear war**. Calling that hyperbolic might be an understatement; it's absurd and egregious. I struggle to believe Carlson believes it in the slightest.
But ultimately he doesn't care to represent Shapiro in a remotely reasonable way, despite Shapiro being someone who actually takes great care as to the clarity of his positions and his reasoning for them.
Instead he seems intent on leveraging MAGA's (and the left's) grievances against neocons—which he co-opts as a convenient label for his own enemies (non-isolationists and anyone remotely supportive of Israel), making those enemies seem maniacal and extreme (not just hawkish on foreign policy), and then making it sound like he's just on the side of the normies against a minority of elite bloodthirsty neocons that want everyone annihilated.
Tucker Carlson appears to have COMPLETELY UNRAVELLED. Continuing his obsession with @benshapiro - while simultaneously insisting he's irrelevant - Tucker now alleges that Shapiro openly wants nuclear war and the “extermination of all human life.”
Naturally, he doesn't bother providing a shred of evidence to support this extraordinary allegation.
Reminder: This is the same guy who argues that Iran, a regime run by an ACTUAL DEATH CULT of Islamist extremists, SHOULD be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
So cool! Helping flood YouTube with AI explainer videos that have virtually no unique value or specialized knowledge behind them to get clicks! Because when I go to YouTube I am obviously looking for exactly that… someone else’s AI agent telling me what I could have asked an LLM about myself if I wanted a totally LLM-generated answer.
I mean, what else would I be searching YouTube for… human expertise? Human experience? Human storytelling? Human reasoning? Human-curated and packaged information?
Nah, definitely an AI presentation using an AI script and an AI voice on a YouTube channel where it does that every single day about random topics. Yup. 🫠
by Dec 31st, I'll hit 1M+ views on a new YouTube channel that my AI agent runs for me
calling it my last challenge of 2026 💪
a few days ago, one of my explainer videos did 600K impressions on X, so I started a YouTube channel that runs completely on its own
it’s called "How It Actually Works"
every day, it picks a topic, writes the script, makes the video and posts it
so far, it has covered interesting topics like how Shazam recognizes a song in seconds, what really happens when you delete a file, and how a contactless card works without a battery
and this is my calendar - every green check is a video that went out by itself, and the blue ones are already queued up
the whole setup is Revid making the videos and Squad running the agent that picks topics, writes and schedules them via PostSyncer
this is going to be fun 🤩

Facts! I obviously disagree with the beliefs of Judaism but I do not hate Jewish people just for being Jewish. That’s hateful and un-Christian.
It is our jobs as Christians to preach the Gospel to all of those who are not following the path of Christ and plant those seeds to help those folks unbridle their eyes and open themselves to the love of Christ as His love is eternal and the key to salvation.
God gives all of us free will as he did NOT create us to be robotic. He has given us all moral responsibility which is to preach His love and persuade those who reject Christ, to accept Him and His love.
DISAGREEING WITH JUDAISM AND THEIR BELIEFS IS NOT ANTISEMITIC. I’m so tired of people dancing around this and calling anyone who is willing to say “this is not of Christ, these people hold antichrist beliefs and need the gospel” an antisemite. They are the mission field!
Candace Owens is a tool of Satan and full of hate, anyone who hates Jewish people because they are Jewish are not acting in love or Christlikeness, anyone who blames them for everything is a fool! But there are 2 extremes!
Christians are called to love , and love tells the truth. My gosh I feel like I am taking crazy pills. Jesus HIMSELF called out the Pharisees and told them they would die in their sins apart from him.
You wouldn’t mind evangelizing and calling a spade a spade with Islam or any other religion who rejects Christ. Why do I have to handle this with soft mittens to not be called an antisemite?
This is not antisemitic! Stop being liberals and crying antisemitism like they cry racism and homophobia .
“I never knew you felt this way Lizzie” of course I do I’m a Christian, why don’t you? They don’t get a free pass without Christ the need the gospel!

I never said, "Shut up if you're pissed off about a $22 burrito." I said, "Burritos don't cost $20 if you know how to cook from home."
I love my people. I love them enough to tell them how much power they actually have, power that perhaps they didn't know they had.
The more empowered we are, the less likely we are to hand over power to an oppressive nanny government.
By the way, there is a way to fix the $20 burrito problem: CUT GOVERNMENT, CUT SPENDING, and CUT REGULATION.

There is nothing new under the sun. Beware of circulating falsehood. Social media makes it easier than ever, therefore it stands to reason that we should be slower to speak and quicker to listen than ever.
“You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice.”
Exodus 23:1-2 NKJV
Verse 7 goes on to say “Keep yourself far from a false matter; do not kill the innocent and righteous. For I will not justify the wicked.”

This is what happens when people no longer value life. Abortion opens the door to treating her children as disposable non-humans, and now we see more mothers killing their children. Couple this with what we have seen in the Netherlands, where they murder children, and call it medical care, and you can slowly see how fallen this world is.
This does not mean that we should be blackpilling, though. Instead, we need to continue promoting a culture of life and hold all murderers accountable for their crimes.
