Talked about the role of high-quality #earlyreader texts in teaching kids to read (and motivating them to read!) at this weekend’s @nErDcampLI. Here are more recs + even more on my Pinterest board! Thank you for your work #teachers + #librarians! 📚 pin.it/6XS8EVer3

Nobody has ever dressed up as one of my characters for Halloween. Or so I thought! A friend just sent me a pic of a neighbor dressed as Layla from Layla and the Bots, and I never would have known if he hadn’t spotted her and shared with me. 🥰🎃👻

‘Tis the season! 🎃👻🦇📖 If you’re looking to do some Halloween reading this year, why not check out one of these 32 diverse books that are perfect for the season?
A promotional graphic with a wavy white and orange checkered background. At the top of the graphic is an illustration of a ghost reading a pink book, surrounded by tiny blue stars. Beneath the ghost is title text that says, “32 Diverse Halloween Reads for All Ages!” Each line of text alternates between orange and black.
