This is a pattern we are seeing across Mississippi: Scott Colom is winning affidavit ballots by a significantly larger margin than in the overall vote.
For Cindy Hyde-Smith to retake the lead, she needs to be outperforming in affidavit ballots instead. She's not.
Democrat Scott Colom is overperforming among affidavit votes in the race for U.S. Senate in Alcorn, Chickasaw and Itawamba counties.
That meant Hyde-Smith only netted 71 votes from affidavit ballots across the 3 counties—despite big overall leads in two.

Mississippians only had 12 hours to make it happen. W/o any state laws for voting leave, w/o the infrastructure to facilitate the whole state trying to vote in one day, & gobs of other voter suppression. They’ve been neck & neck the whole time. 🥹 pride can’t even describe this.
