Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out 👎

I’m sure all of Twitter will be rejoicing today at the news of the election of a Somalian child refugee, Sagan Abdi-Wali, as the MP for Holborn & St Pancras.
What a fantastic role model she is and hopefully an inspiration to other refugees.
Great to see such a success story!

I would rather live in a street full of migrants than a street full of Danny Tommos and Tommy Robinsons.

Lady in green, "As a child I couldn't understand how the nazis came to power. And now I understand it... Truss and Kwarteng tanked the economy, my daughter is paying £400 more a month for her mortgage. They are deflecting all of that by talking about small boats." #BBCQT
I work at a library that still issues fines to kids and teens for late books. I don't fine them. Because it's ridiculous to give a child a negative experience of books, & equally ridiculous to punish students for working hard. I always make the fines disappear from their account.

"If Farage will do you a Cameo for £70, just ask yourself - what he would do for seventy million?"
Well said.

If you take more offence at Andy Burnham taking 2 days out to mourn the passing of his father than Farage saying he will hardly turn up to the Commons because it's beneath him and swanning off to the USA rather than serving his constituency. You are totally morally bankrupt! 🤦🏼♂️

Alzheimer's disease is called the long goodbye. The loved ones of those afflicted with it are forced to surrender the people they love long before they die.
It's a cruel illness that doesn't care who you are or how much you'll be missed and it leaves devastation in its wake.
My love to the Burnham family on this sad day and to the tens of thousands of families who are slowly saying goodbye to a person they love @alzheimerssoc

Greggs at Westfield (Stratford) at around 2.30pm this afternoon (14/9). If you’re the grandparent of the little girl having a ‘meltdown’ due to being overwhelmed while choosing a cake in the extremely busy environment, or the member of staff who did everything that she could to try and calm her down, you both did a brilliant job regardless of the reaction of others around you.
Much love to you if you see this.

Just had breakfast before the Great North Run with @benshephard @reid6peter & a competition winner 🤪🤣😂
It's a reflection on the depressing state of our national discourse right now that the UK Prime Minister is doing The Great North Run to raise money for a homeless charity that helps over 14,000 people a year and his donations sit at just £3,233.
Meanwhile, a multiple convicted hard-right grifter has asked his gullible followers to donate because he used his mum's address to register his company, and those donations, which will go into his back pocket, are currently sitting at £66,902.

ALT Quote by Prime Minister Mark Carney: The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”. The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America. We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms. Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.

Remembering the late, great Dolly, who brought joy, comfort and inspiration to so many - including the millions of children given free books through her Imagination Library. We will always ❤️ you.

There have been 25 Prime Ministers in Ethel's lifetime - a third of those are since she turned 100
Happy birthday to the incredible Ethel Caterham, who turns 117 today! 🥳
As well as being the world's oldest person, she is the first Briton on record to reach the age of 117 years old.

Let’s settle this, is Nigel Farage a racist?
Like if he is.
RT if he is going to lose Clacton to Count Binface.
