🚨OH MY! THE 99% AREN’T THE DUMMIES, LISA.🚨 Lisa Lazarus actually said the majority of racing’s stakeholders are “not very technically savvy” and that many “don’t even have smartphones or computers.” Are you kidding me? This is exactly the arrogance the 99% has been fighting. Owners, trainers, breeders, horsemen, veterinarians and fans run businesses every day using smartphones, computers, online banking, digital records, racing platforms and countless other technologies. We are not the DUMMIES. If your system wasn’t properly locked down, don’t blame the people who use it. Don’t insult an entire industry by suggesting cybersecurity had to be weakened because racing participants supposedly can’t handle technology. And then comes the incredible admission: “Within our user group, we were not locked down enough in terms of permissions.” THAT is the issue. HISA was handed enormous authority over this industry. With that authority comes responsibility, including protecting the systems and data entrusted to it. Stop blaming the users. Stop talking down to the industry. Stop treating the 99% like we’re too stupid to understand what is happening. I am calling on the HISA Board of Directors to address these comments publicly and TERMINATE Lisa Lazarus as CEO. AND WHERE ARE HISA’S LENDERS? Organizations within this industry loaned HISA millions of dollars to help get this EXPERIMENT off the ground. Where are their voices now? Why aren't they publicly demanding accountability? Why aren't they calling for Lazarus to RESIGN? Is their silence connected to the overlapping relationships and conflicts within racing’s establishment? If not, then SPEAK UP! You helped finance HISA. You don't get to disappear when serious questions are being asked about its leadership. Enough EXCUSES. Enough ARROGANCE. Enough SILENCE. Enough investigating YOURSELVES. The HISA “DUMMY” needs to go. The 99% understands technology just fine. Maybe the people HISA underestimated are the very people now holding it accountable. @LisaLazarusCEO @hisa_us @jockeyclub @BreedersCup

“ALS has forced me to realize that who I am is so much bigger than what my body can do.” Former @Titans RB @ChrisJohnson28 kept his ALS battle private for a long time. In a letter to his kids, he writes that he is still the same person he has always been despite the disease — he’ll always be their dad. ❤️ playerstribu.ne/ChrisJohnson
