Spent the night before our fall games at @lightthenightnj in Morristown! ❤️🎆
It was a perfect way to come together in support of those battling blood cancer, honoring those we’ve lost, and standing alongside survivors and their families.

Last night during practice, I had an accident that left me with a swollen eye and three stitches. Thankfully, I didn’t sustain any broken bones in my face, but I was in a lot of pain. Unfortunately, I have to take a week off from softball to recover. ❤️🩹
I want my fellow catchers to learn from my experience. ALWAYS wear your catcher’s mask, even when warming up! It doesn’t matter how fast or slow the pitcher throws or how experienced you are. Accidents can happen in a split second. Please protect yourselves because no practice or warm-up is worth risking an injury. 🥎
Thank you to all the coaches and players who immediately jumped in to help me and comfort me. I know it can be scary to see your teammate down and bleeding, and I’m so grateful everyone was there for me.
A special thank you to my Dad for keeping me calm, making me laugh, and being my ambulance ride. ❤️😂 Even in a scary moment when I was hurting, you found a way to make me smile. I’m so thankful to have you by my side!
Thank you to everyone who has checked on me and kept me in your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate all the love and support so much! ❤️🙏🥎

🥎 STOP CHASING THE DIVISION. START CHASING THE RIGHT FIT.
One of the biggest mistakes I see in recruiting is athletes feeling pressured by comments like:
“Why aren’t you going D1?”
“You could play at a higher level.”
Here’s the truth:
College softball isn’t about the logo on your jersey. It’s about finding the place where you’ll succeed for the next four years.
Every level—NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and JUCO—has outstanding coaches, talented players, competitive softball, and incredible academic opportunities.
What matters most is finding a program where:
🥎 You’re valued as a person, not just another name on the roster.
🎓 Your academic goals are supported.
📈 You have the opportunity to grow and contribute.
🤝 The coaching staff communicates honestly.
🏡 The team culture feels like home.
I’ve seen athletes choose a school because of the division, only to end up unhappy, buried on the depth chart, or transferring a year later.
The best commitment isn’t the highest division. It’s the best fit.
Go where you’ll be challenged.
Go where you’ll be supported.
Go where you’ll grow as both a player and a person.
Every opportunity to play college softball is an incredible accomplishment.
Choose fit over prestige. Your future self will thank you.
