34 securities can now be tokenized, backed 1:1 by assets held at DTC and transferable 24/7 onchain.
The service launches on @CantonNetwork and DTCC’s private Besu network.
JPMorgan, BofA, Citi, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity, State Street, UBS and Citadel are among the institutions signed up to access it.
@Chainlink is also involved across DTCC’s broader tokenization and 24/7 collateral infrastructure.
DTCC sits at the core of global financial markets, with $114T+ in assets held at DTC.
TradFi moving onchain is no longer theoretical.

RWA drama this week is basically: who holds the real asset and how does a token legally bind to it? I asked myself the same question years ago. Our (working!) answer is: a trust holds title at the county, the token controls the trust. Transfer the token, you've legally transferred the property.
