I think people forget that people are oppressed in the South because MINORITIES LIVE HERE?!?! You hear about how awful it is because we exist here. It's not just red oppressors. We want change for our states and to see them be better for everyone. Y'all means all.

everyone hates on the south because they’re red but don’t take the time to realize the south is red because we are constantly gerrymandered and they make it impossible for minorities— ESPECIALLY POC— to vote, in rural areas most polling places are inaccessible

what we're not gonna do after tonight is attack red states by saying everyone living there "deserves" to suffer. good people live in these states, they are trying to make changes and fight best they can despite being outnumbered and are directly impacted by their state's choices

I need all y'all to know that even if SC doesn't go blue, the fact that it's this tight of a race says A LOT about how everythin has been and how much it has changed here. The possibility of a blue leanin SC hasn't been a concept since 2003. Keep voting. Your voice matters.
