so far iโm genuinely happy with how pantalone is being written because i love how human he remains despite everything heโs suffered, and how his relationship with faith and divinity can resonate with people who grew up in a more oppressive religious environment

I donโt think itโs that far-fetched for Nahida to be involved in Dottoreโs rebirth. Here is my interpretation of the relationship between Dottore and Nahida, their values, intentions and goals. ๐งต๐ชก

i realized what makes me want to pull for a charcter is their personality and in world interactions rather than their gameplay mechanics alone. im reminded of when i prefarmed everything for baizhus rerun but completely folded for furina cuz of her teaser and got her instead

as someone who actually reads the lore i have to agree with this one
yes i hope so too. i believe theyโre actually on the same page, but pantalone mistakenly believes his goals conflict with the travelerโs when their journeys actually align as you said!!
thatโs literally what happened with scara and i was drawing a parallel between them ๐ซฉ heโs not going to suddenly become a hero or turn into a good person, itโs about personal growth. weโre basically talking about the same thing, just using the term differently ๐ญ
weโre literally agreeing on the same thing and debating over hypothetical headcanons that havenโt happened yet, is pointless when we donโt even know if theyโre going to happen in the first place??
fanon is interesting precisely because it leaves room for different interpretations of a dynamic. once it becomes canon youโre also bound by how the writers choose to portray it, which can sometimes feel more like fanservice than something that genuinely adds to the charactersโฆ
