I just want to be left alone to get on with my life. Was always a Tory, now just disillusioned. if you want a label then “Libertarian” is probably the closest.

When I was young it was nuclear war. When I was a teenager it was AIDS. As I grew to adulthood it was acid rain. Then global warming. Then climate change. Now I’m older it’s covid. Of course now I realise what they all have in common and I’m done. I will not live in fear. Enough.

WOULD YOU PUT YOUR KIDS ON THAT BUS? 🚌😤 There's a video going round of an 88 bus in London. The driver is in a full burqa. Everything covered but a narrow slit for the eyes. And nobody in charge thinks that's a problem. A narrow slit. That's what she's meant to spot a kid stepping off the pavement with. That's what's meant to catch a cyclist coming up her blind side. That's meant to keep forty people on a double-decker safe in the middle of London traffic. Are we mad? And if something goes wrong on that bus somebody hurt, somebody attacked, God forbid worse what have you got? A description of a veil. That's it. Nobody could identify her. Nobody could stand up in court and say it was her. I don't care what anyone believes. I really don't. But there is a line, and we crossed it the moment we decided this was fine. Because it isn't fine. It's dangerous. And it's been allowed to happen because everybody's too frightened to say the obvious thing. TfL — where is the policy? Does a bus driver in London have to show their face or not? Answer the question. Seen it? What do you think?

Dear public sector workers. You are not wealth creators. You are not net contributors to the income tax or NI pot. You just aren’t. There’s no debate about this. Try this simple experiment. Take a pot of money divide it by a few people. Ask them to pay some back.

I’m really not sure why I’m getting people jumping up and down telling me why the public sector is important. Personally I’d privatise a lot of it but I get why people don’t want that. But important or not that doesn’t change the fact it doesn’t create wealth. It just doesn’t. 🤷‍♂️

When you’ve got that “tax” back divide it up again and again ask them to pay some back. You’ll note you run out of money quickly. You need cash from outside to top it up. That’ll be the private sector. So please. Stop taking the piss out of us. Thank you.

Remind me again how the courts would never bail terror suspects and so they had to be petrol thieves. It seems we right wing racist fascist conspiracy theorist bigots were right again. Funny that. Two men named and charged over RAF Fairford incident devonlive.com/news/local-new…

These people don’t live in the real fucking world. They’re on over £150k. Have been given £25k over the past four years and want another £16k now. They create no wealth themselves so it all has to come from the private sector. Which is broke. apple.news/AlaGgE3rfSPelh2Cm…

I don’t understand why this account keeps appearing in my feed. I don’t interact with it, don’t even quote it directly as I’m convinced it’s a fake troll account posting clickbait for cash. I keep on hitting the “not interested in this post” too but it keeps popping up.

In other words trans people matter than anyone else. Certainly more than any horrible bigoted women who might not want a hulking 6footer with a beard who calls himself Brenda in their ward whilst they’re recovering from surgery. Nazis the lot of them.

I note that chuckles has turned off the replies to this. I wonder why?

This is absolutely INSANE! Meet Mohammed Yaseen. He was a member of an Al Qaeda group that beheaded Brit Ken Bigley. He then joined ISIS where he worked as a guard at two mass killings and a deadly public stoning. He was arrested in Germany and served nearly 5 years in prison for being a member of Isis. After he was released, Germany didn't deport him, so he broke into our country on a small boat because he heard we 'accept everyone'. He was jailed for 2 years for illegal entry, then released early after 6 months. This is despite hearing in court that he 'posed a danger to the whole of the UK' and he had a 'deep and lengthy involvement in terrorism and Islamic extremist ideology'. He's eligible for deportation, but the Foreign Office raised concerns that if we deport him to Iraq he could face 'mistreatment' for being a terrorist. He has reapplied to stay in the UK, which halts any deportation proceedings and it will cost taxpayers' £85,000 a year to keep him here. It get's worse... if and when he uses the ECHR to fight his case, we are potentially on the hook for another *£500,000* in legal aid. He's been put in a bail hostel in Windsor and able to walk the streets. WHAT TF ARE WE DOING TO OURSELVES?! This country is utterly broken.
