Los festejos de #Halloween este año fueron un furor en los chicos, como nunca había visto hasta ahora.
Ya no depende de clases sociales y es algo que parece llegó para quedarse y afianzarse, mientras otras celebraciones como reyes creo van perdiendo su costumbre.

We lament the youth mental health crisis, social isolation and screen addiction. Yet when young people actually go outside, socialise and express themselves creatively, we find reasons to condemn that too.

So, the French socialists, and Parliament members just voted a tax, that they don’t understand, which would cost VideoLAN more than 1 million euro per year.

Very Australian for CommSec (Australia’s largest retail broker, owned by the country’s biggest bank) to be down on both its app and website during trading hours without feeling the need to make an announcement. Particularly when it’s happening at the exact same time other massive platforms are getting hacked. They used to post updates on X, but they deactivated their account without explanation despite it being their largest communication channel by a long shot. Imagine Fidelity or Charles Schwab going completely dark during US market hours, posting zero updates, and just hoping their clients wouldn't notice.

Siri is still bad, like really really bad. I opened an email with my Uber Eats confirmation, there was a live activity on the screen with progress, and I pulled down and asked Siri "what did I order for lunch?" And it thought for like 2 minutes and then said it doesn't know. 🤦♂️
Okay so the harness and models are clearly bad. Well, then next I opened up the Siri GUI app on macOS and HOLY. It's the worst looking, beginner, basic bitch app I've ever seen. Did someone spend more than 5 minutes on this?
Whoever worked on this app along with the full chain of people who checked off on this needs to be terminated immediately. This is 0/10 terrible software, so embarrassed for Apple to ship this.

Bugün yoğun bakımdaki babaannemi ziyarete gittim. Oradayken Claude Opus 5.5 kullanarak hastabaşı monitörüne Doom portladım. Oyundaki can yüzdesini hastanın nabzına senkronize ettim; can 0’a düşerse nabız da sıfıra düşer. Bu da oyunu daha heyecanlı hale getiriyor.
