fframes is finally released!
And we are jumping straight to 1.0 of providing unprecedented performance rendering the video and a built in verification loop for your agents to make progress faster.
Without a browser. At all.
fframes 1.4.1
- Nest clips, trim them and control when they start
- Animate subtitles word by word with the revised subtitles API
- Scrub the timeline and jump between scenes in the new native preview

Amazing! We are so happy to see that our users enjoy faster renders and quicker iteration loop :)
video editing should be fast for everyone

Grateful for your work on @fframes_rust @neogoose_btw.
Massive time saver for producing great video content.
Our team recommends putting Fframes into any agentic video pipeline for 3d, especially.
many such cases

not heard about cardboard but i've dabbled with hyperframe and a lot with remotion
fframes is just a lot faster
can you believe that this video was made using fframes?
Software can now understand human language and act on it, in real time.
Introducing Sage2
- Extract: natural language in, structured data out. 166x cheaper than Opus 5.5, beats @Cloudflare's Clairic
- Decide: the first decision model with streaming. 3x faster, because it reads the context as it grows.
Sage2 is a new primitive for developers. Get 20M tokens free 👇
Also available on @near_ai and, for agents, via @mpp with @Stripe cards and @Tempo stables.
glitches on beat. fframes + fal, nicely done
30s promo, zero timeline editing.
Text scramble, RGB glitch, silk shaders, cuts on the beat. All built with @fframes_rust and @fal.

3d scenes with physics, made with fframes. nice one, Ed
a little preview of what’s cooking: subtitles with moves
Have been working on subtitles module for fframes. The goal was to minimize rust code needed to express different styles and animations.
This video subtitles defined in a declarative file, so changing any position/effect of any particular word doesn’t need rust recompilation and instantly ready for preview. Effects defined once in a rust code and reused.
anime effects, made with fframes 🔥
覚醒 AWAKENING
24 seconds of anime effects, all drawn in code: cel-shaded fire, lightning, impact frames, a sword slash and a beam clash. The effects run at 12 drawings a second like TV anime, and every hit lands on a drum beat. Made with @fframes_rust
flashcards in motion ✨ gem-words, made with fframes
put yourself on fire with fframes ❤️🔥

@fframes_rust is awesome. I can literally just ask it to create custom effects (shaders) and attach them to clips
a little desktop calm ✨ Umbra’s demo, made with fframes
I made a cute little video for my toy project. It's a window dimmer, like @HazeOverApp, but for Windows ⊞.
Built with @fframes_rust and the interaction sounds from @dwhitedesign's Cuelume library.
Try it: nux.tech/umbra/ ♡⸜(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)⸝♡
one SVG, now in 3D 🦥 made with fframes
😭 rainy day in the microsoft office
but the graphics is cool 👉 👈
I turned Microsoft’s year of cuts into a rainy night city in @fframes_rust
A 2.5D SVG world in SkSL shaders on top. 3,600 frames at 2K, rendered on one GPU in 3 minutes 39 seconds.

faster incremental recompilation coming later today with 1.3.1
I've been doing some optimization to make fframes project spend less time on recompilation. In the next 1.3.1 recompilation time will go from 4 seconds to 0.69 seconds for trivial changes
But we now also support blaze which brings compilation down to 69ms for the same change!
if you have bazel installed fframes skill will automatically use it
a slick little promo ✨ made with fframes
Fframes by @neogoose_btw is so good. This is just an example of the types of promo vids I’ve been making for a project I’m working on. I’ll show them all off soon for now follow @Orion_terminal.
