Letβs be honest thereβs absolutely no way Dortmund donβt qualify for Europe, and itβs very likely they even make Top 4 itβs literally 6 points and none of the teams up there are any consistent
The consequences of missing out on qualification for Europe would be dramatic. The club would have to cut the squad budget by around β¬30 million if Dortmund were to miss out on even the Europa League. The same applies to the transfer budget. Essentially, it would barely exist. Before any new signings could arrive in the summer, players would first need to be sold. One potential candidate: Karim Adeyemi, who is expected to bring in a fixed fee of β¬50 million. On top of that, bonuses could push the total fee close to the β¬60 million mark.
One thing is also clear: a permanent transfer of Carney Chukwuemeka would be completely unaffordable. The purchase option of around β¬35 million is simply too high under the circumstances. [SPORTBILD]
