Every time I hear "10 sigma" event...
BREAKING: Brazil's -19.8% stock market crash on Monday was one of the rarest market events in the last two decades, according to our analysis. Brazil's EWZ ETF plunged -19.8% on October 26th, marking an 8.4 standard deviation move. For context, the ETF's average daily move over the last 20 years has been just +0.04%, with a standard deviation of 2.36%. Under a normal distribution, the probability of a decline this extreme is approximately 1 in 58 quadrillion. In other words, this event should be virtually impossible under conventional statistical models. What just happened in Brazil was *almost* impossible.

The electorate aren’t goldfish. Our memories are long enough to recall June 2024, when you declared that trans-identified men with penises should be able to use women’s public bathrooms. It took a Supreme Court ruling to force you to uphold women’s rights, and now you pose as our bold champion? Please.
The time for talk has long passed. This government is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to supporting women and girls. We'll back practical action to confine misogyny to the history books - in public services, workplaces, and online. theguardian.com/society/2026…

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right? 1

Albertus the Magnificient is using our entropy maps for genetics. It is not an alternative method. It is the ONLY method for distances. Correlation and covariances do not reflect informational distances.
Plain PCA distances are hard to interpret: the same gap on the map does not carry the same amount of information everywhere. Taleb et al. add one extra step that converts positions into information units and keeps the order along each axis. Per the authors, this makes distances interpretable and, in some cases, improves cluster identification. The flat centre is the trade-off (Fig. 1). Groups close to the origin lose resolution, so a tight cluster there means “not clearly separated on these two axes”, not “identical”. In return, the outer groups are pushed further apart (Fig. 3b), so strong contrasts become sharper. It doesn’t reorder anything and it doesn’t invent differences. And it is a map position, not an ancestry share, so I’d always read it next to the plain PCA and other reference sets. How it works, step by step:

A Secret Service agent who protected Trump recently said something that SHOCKED everyone: “Trump has RUINED me — I could never protect another President the same way again.” And before you assume he meant that as criticism, WAIT until you understand what he really meant by “ruined,” because his explanation of Trump has left people across the Secret Service deeply emotional. Here’s what the agent meant by “Trump ruined me”: This Secret Service agent had protected several Presidents before Trump. He was professionally trained, followed every rule, and performed his duty with discipline, distance, and dedication. He protected each President the same way — until he was assigned to Trump. That’s when EVERYTHING changed. The agent explained: “Trump RUINED me for this job. Not because he’s difficult — but because he’s completely different. Trump knows my NAME. Other Presidents called me ‘agent.’ Trump calls me by my actual name. He knows my WIFE’S name. He knows my CHILDREN’S names. He asks about my son’s baseball games. Trump notices when I’ve been standing for 8 hours and tells me, ‘Sit down, you need to rest.’ During long days, Trump makes sure EXTRA food is available: ‘Make sure my guys eat first.’ When my FATHER passed away, Trump came to his funeral. No cameras. No reporters. No publicity. He simply came to honor the man who raised the person protecting him. After being treated like THIS — how could I ever return to being just ‘agent’ to another President? After Trump remembered my CHILDREN’S names, how could I protect someone who wouldn’t even bother learning mine? After Trump treated me like FAMILY, how could I go back to feeling like FURNITURE? Trump RUINED me. He raised the standard so HIGH for how a President can treat the people protecting him that I could never accept the old standard again. That’s what I mean when I say he ‘ruined’ me.” Here’s what this confession supposedly shows: Trump didn’t simply have Secret Service agents protecting him — he made them feel VALUED, RESPECTED, and treated like FAMILY. Once someone experiences that kind of personal respect, it becomes impossible to accept being treated like nothing more than equipment.

There were five slave trades. You were taught about only one. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 One. The Atlantic. Twelve million Africans shipped to the Americas. Britain banned it in 1807, then hunted it for sixty years. Two. The Barbary trade. A million Europeans taken to North Africa. Britain bombarded Algiers in 1816. Three. The Saharan trade. A thousand years of caravans north across the desert. Britain had its northern end banned. Tripoli, 1857. Four. The East African trade. Twenty thousand people a year through one customs house. Britain forced the market shut. 5 June 1873. Five. The Ottoman trade. Raiders sold Eastern Europeans south for three hundred years. Britain made the Sultan ban it in 1854. It cost sixty years and two thousand sailors. Nobody else fought all five. 🙏🇬🇧 It isn't over. Mauritania only made it a crime in 2007. Fifty million people are in slavery today. Someone has to remember who started the fight. ⚓🇬🇧💪

That'd be one hell of a way to insert a deep-cover agent. Except for the fingerprints, of course. But "rescuing" a group of American POW's and inserting an agent to replace one of them who'd died… hell of a way. Basically Mad Men, but with a Soviet Agent.
June 6, 1944. An American paratrooper jumps into Normandy in the dark and lands on the roof of a church. By the end of the war he had been declared dead, held a funeral he didn't attend, escaped the Nazis, and fought his way toward Berlin in a Soviet tank unit. His name was Joseph Beyrle. He's believed to be the only American soldier to serve in both the US Army and the Red Army during World War Two. Beyrle was from Muskegon, Michigan. He joined the 101st Airborne, the Screaming Eagles. His buddies called him Jumpin' Joe. On D-Day night his plane was hit by flak and he jumped early. He came down on a church roof, slid off, and lost his unit in the chaos. For a few days he fought on his own, blowing up a power station and cutting German communications. Then he was captured. Here's where it gets strange. A German soldier ended up wearing Beyrle's uniform and dog tags. That German was killed. When the body was found, the Americans identified it as Joseph Beyrle. The army told his parents their son was dead. His hometown held a funeral mass for him. His obituary ran in the local paper. Meanwhile, he was very much alive, being moved from one German prison camp to another. He escaped more than once. One time he and two other prisoners jumped off a train heading east. They thought they were heading for Russia and freedom. They got lost and ended up in Berlin, where they were caught by the Gestapo, beaten, and tortured. In January 1945, from a camp in eastern Germany, he finally made a clean escape. He went east, toward the gunfire. Toward the Soviets. When he found a Soviet tank unit, he walked out with his hands up, holding a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes, and shouted the only Russian he knew. American comrade. It worked. He asked to join them. And they said yes. For about a month, an American paratrooper rode with Soviet tank crews as they pushed toward Germany. He used his demolition training. He fought. He was reportedly welcomed by a Soviet officer who was one of the rare women commanding a tank battalion. Then a German dive bomber attacked. Beyrle was badly wounded. He was evacuated to a Soviet hospital. Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov reportedly visited, heard his story, and gave him papers to get to the American embassy in Moscow. When he showed up, the embassy didn't believe him. As far as the US was concerned, Joseph Beyrle was dead. They held him under guard until his fingerprints proved who he was. He made it home to Michigan in April 1945. In 1946 he got married. In the same church where they'd held his funeral. Decades later, in 1994, he was honored at the White House by President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin for serving both countries. And the last twist. His son, Joseph Beyrle II, grew up to become the United States Ambassador to Russia.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

This is a watershed moment and it passed by almost unnoticed. Here we have British cops threatening a man with arrest for being “openly Jewish” at a pro-Hamas rally. Being Jewish in public where Muslims can see you in Sadiq Khan’s London is now officially a crime. Never mind that he’s standing quietly with his hands in his pockets while people chant “Nazi scum” at him: he’s visibly Jewish, which makes him clearly in the wrong. Also worth noting: the fact that the cops, apparently incapable of preventing violence as long as this man is antagonizing the crowd by breathing Jewishly at them, have decided that the best way to deal with the problem of violent antisemitism is to side with the antisemitic mob. Arresting a Jew, whose very existence is an act of Islamophobia, is so much safer than protecting him and his right to be openly Jewish in 21st century Britain.
“You are quite openly Jewish” “If you choose to remain here you will be arrested for breaching the peace” In Sadiq Kahn’s diverse & inclusive London - Police threaten you with arrest just for being Jewish in areas of the City people might take offence to that.

Below are two charts, one showing all the major conflicts going on in the world and the deaths accumulated by them in the month of September 2026. The second chart lists the media coverage/headlines and attention those deaths received. We now have real data to back up what many of us have been saying for months on this app. Look at Gaza/Palestine with 120 the “least amount of deaths” where supposedly a genocide is happening but with “the most coverage.” Nigeria had 451 deaths nearly 4 times that of Gaza but received ZERO HEADLINES and they receive $730 MILLION in American taxpayer dollars FY2025. Somalia had 194 deaths, 74 murders than Gaza and receives ZERO HEADLINES and they received $498 MILLION in American taxpayer dollars FY2025. Gaza receives way more headlines, coverage, and attention than Ukraine and they had 6202 deaths in September alone and it’s not considered a GENOCIDE. Nobody’s marching in the streets, protesting, and rioting around the world for Ukrainians. Ethiopia had the 4th largest deaths at 609 and coverage is AGAIN surpassed by Gaza and they received $920 MILLION in American taxpayer dollars in FY2025. None of people talking about Gaza care that the tax dollars are getting to extremists and funding their atrocities. And you wanna know why? Yes it’s antisemitism because it’s a conflict with Jewish people. But ALSO in the other countries it’s the Islamists who are doing the killings mainly, but in Gaza they’re being killed and are pissed about it and the world has to know and pay, as they cry victim.
