If you need to show the process of your work to win someone over then your work is ugly. I don’t care you spent 1000 hours. Focus on the optics

The process doesn’t matter the only thing that matters is the the surface level

I think design school puts too much emphasis on explaining and justifying all of your design decisions Design and art are a language far more complex than any spoken / written language, to put it into words only waters down what your true intentions were Trying to explain your work is a whole other job in itself which distracts you from your main job which is creating important things that you believe should exist in the world

The best way to build a meaningful product is to build a product and then once u run into an obstacle, build a second product to fix the first products problem. Then just keep repeating until ur rich. I think this is a good idea. Happy Halloween
