Ex Animation Student here.
People who don't understand animation think this is expensive, it is not.
This artist is drawing 12 to 24 finished illustrations for 1 second of animation.
So 20$ to 10$ an illustration.
I'm addition, they are wearing many hats to get the final product done.
In the animation industry, no one is drawing a full animation start to finish.
The job is separated between; story board artists, key frame animators, filler frame animators, clean up and colorist.
This person is doing every job in their service and their pay is justified.
The Halloween YCH is officially closed! 😊
Thank you so much to all my wonderful clients who allowed me to draw such incredible characters. I had so much fun! (✿◡‿◡)
These YCH bases will hopefully come back next year! (～￣▽￣)～
