NEW UPDATE: PETER OBI VISITS OTUKPO, BENUE STATE, TO COMMISERATE WITH BEREAVED FAMILIES The Presidential Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi, today paid a condolence visit to Otukpo Nobi and the good people of Otukpo Local Government Area, Benue State, following the tragic loss of lives in the community. The visit was an expression of solidarity with the affected families and the people of Otukpo, who have endured painful losses and insecurity. In times of grief, true leadership is about being present, listening, standing with the people, and showing that their lives and wellbeing matter.

I listened to Dr. Hakeem Ahmed on Symphoni Media, and honestly, he made a whole lot of sense. But one thing he said really stayed with me. He said former President Olusegun Obasanjo has an eye for good leadership, and he gave us Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. That got me thinking. Chief Obasanjo supported Yar’Adua because he believed he had qualities Nigeria needed, particularly integrity. So, in my own opinion, when a man with that kind of political experience supports someone, I believe it is worth paying attention to. Nigerians should at least ask: What does he see in this person that we may not be seeing yet? Sometimes, leadership is also about recognizing good leadership when you see it. His Excellency Peter Obi is coming and Nigeria will be OK 2027!

Their war is almost done. 2027 is the last battle of that war, and the ongoing battle in Osun is proof of it. Both gladiators are standing on his mandate, but the carnage endures. Our war of liberation must commence now, or our enslavement by these criminals is guaranteed..🇳🇬🤔

One reason Nigerians were able to oust GEJ was because they were well fed. Tinubu understands that a Prosperous population will not condone his incompetence. The only reforms going on are deliberately poverty programs aimed at dehumanizing Nigerians

FAILURE TO PROSECUTE SENATOR FRANCIS FADAHUNSI FOR CALLING FOR A BLOOD BATH AGAINST ACCORD PARTY SUPPORTERS IS OFFICIAL ENDORSEMENT OF ANARCHY The Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Fadahunsi, in a viral video circulating online, called for the killing of Accord Party members in Osun State during Saturday’s gubernatorial election. The statement made by the Senator in the viral video is highly unfortunate, condemnable, reckless and irresponsible, especially at a time when the political atmosphere in the state is already tense. The Senator's incendiary statement has heightened the already tense political atmosphere in the state, which may lead to a breakdown of law and order and negatively affect voter turnout in the forthcoming election. The subsequent explanation by the Senator, in a bid to defend himself by stating that he meant killing the Accord Party members through votes, is pedestrian, childish and feeble. Furthermore, the statement by the Senator is capable of negatively affecting the integrity of the electoral process, inciting supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against supporters of the Accord Party and other political parties, and also scaring voters away from exercising their constitutional and civic rights to elect candidates of their choice in the forthcoming election. I am aware that the Criminal Investigation Department of the Osun State Police Command invited the Senator for questioning and subsequently released him. This shows that the Osun State Police Command has already taken sides and appears unwilling to take further action against the Senator. It is on this note that I call on the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, to immediately arraign the Senator in a court of competent jurisdiction, in order to demonstrate to Nigerians that his commitment to securing the electoral process in Osun and ensuring a free and fair election is not empty. The prosecution of the Senator will equally demonstrate to Nigerians that he is non-partisan and impartial, having arrested members of the Accord Party and ferried them to Abuja on yet-to-be-substantiated allegations of violence. Failure to prosecute Senator Fadahunsi in accordance with the law will be interpreted by well-meaning Nigerians as an official endorsement of anarchy and a dangerous signal that certain individuals are above the law. Such inaction will not only undermine public confidence in the impartiality and integrity of the Nigeria Police Force, but may also embolden political actors and their supporters to resort to threats, intimidation and violence as tools of political engagement. OSUN STATE: LET THE PEOPLE CHOOSE, LET PEACE PREVAIL As we approach the upcoming election in Osun State, I wish to draw the attention of Nigerians, our institutions, political actors, the diplomatic community, international observers, and all friends of Nigeria across the world to the solemn responsibility before us. Osun belongs to its people. Therefore, I call on the Independent National Electoral Commission, security agencies, political parties, candidates, government institutions, civil society organisations, religious and traditional leaders, the media, and every stakeholder to act with the highest degree of neutrality, professionalism, and restraint. The people of Osun must be allowed to vote freely, safely, and without intimidation. Their votes must be counted transparently, protected faithfully, and announced according to the genuine will of the electorate. To those within Osun State, I appeal for peace. Do not allow politicians to turn your neighbours, friends, and communities against each other. Do not destroy your state in the name of winning an election. Nigeria is bigger than any candidate, and Osun is greater than any political party. To those outside Osun- politicians, supporters, influencers, and financiers- I urge you to exercise restraint. Do not import violence, intimidation, or desperation into a state whose people have the constitutional right to choose their leaders peacefully. To our security agencies, your loyalty must be to Nigeria and the Constitution, not to any political party or individual. Your duty is to protect every voter equally. To INEC, the credibility of this election must be safeguarded from the preparatory stages to accreditation, voting, collation, and declaration. Every irregularity must be addressed seriously, and every legitimate vote must count. And to the international community, diplomatic missions, and election observers: please monitor Osun closely. Your presence, vigilance, and principled observation can bolster confidence in our democratic process. Nigeria welcomes genuine partnerships in the protection of democracy, peace, and the rule of law. Let us remember that democracy is not merely about who wins. Democracy is about whether the people are truly allowed to choose. Let Osun demonstrate to Nigeria, and indeed the world, that political competition can be intense without degenerating into violence; that disagreement can exist without hatred; and that power can change hands through ballots rather than blood. Let every vote count. Let every voter be protected. Let every legitimate result be respected. And above all, let peace reign in Osun State. Nigeria is watching. Africa is watching. The world is watching. Let us provide them with a democratic process worthy of the Nigerian people. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Obidients, please be informed. Despite his open admittance to the crime of the assassination attempt on Peter Obi's life in Edo state, and his plot to eliminate Obi if he enters Rivers state, a hardcore hardline supporter of Tinubu and his APC government, Udeme Monday Stephen @stevetom788 is out and back on twitter, after his arrest by DSS in March, 2026. All they did was to delete the 26th of February 2026 tweet evidence where he threatened to eliminate Peter Obi. Nigerians, under this APC it is different stroke for different folks, because on his mandate they stand. Solomon Akuma the Pharmacist who was an anti-APC and anti-Buhari never got this same treatment for his tweet in 2020. He spent months, detained at FCID, charged to court for terrorism, sedition and threat to the life of Buhari. He was sent to Kuje prison, and later transfered to one of the most notorious prisons in Nigeria, Suleja prison for just jokingly replying to a twitter question on how to spend a million dollars if gifted. He only got his freedom back in 2023, the year Buhari was leaving office through the court of Appeal.
