“Rather than celebrate Blackness as a cultural identity, Afropessimism theorizes it as a position of accumulation and fungibility (Saidiya Hartman); that is, as condition—or relation—of ontological death. One of the guiding questions of Frank B. Wilderson III’s engagement with Afropessimism asks, How are the political stakes of analysis and aesthetics raised and altered if we theorize the structural relation between Blacks and Humanity as an antagonism (an irreconcilable encounter) as opposed to a (reconcilable) conflict?”

when that extremely traumatic memory you forgot about randomly rears its head directly into the forefront of your consciousness. and you re experience all over again but even deeper.
they never go away. you see em when you close your eyes at times. or when you least expect. you just learn to live with it each time it comes up. you develop a tolerance to it, just like a substance.

Each connection is a choice. It is up to the individual to decide which loops to link, which frequencies to resonate with, and which encounters to ignite into a chain reaction. 😇😇🔗⛓️

Everyone is a loop. A continuous cycle of energy, experience, and elevation. The halo, the aura, the torus: symbols of the field that surrounds, reflects, and connects us. 🕳😇

It’s always so bizarre how if you’re around toxic ppl and you’re in a good mood they’ll start getting mad at you for pointless/made up things but if you’re around the same ppl and you’re in a bad mood they’ll ‘reward’ you for being in a bad mood by not getting mad anymore about the exact same things…….. terrifying… eerie…
