in other news I recently bought a painting from rebecca guay. it's called "word of taboo" and was commissioned by wotc somewhere in 2005-2008. it's apparently the only piece rebecca guay drew for them that was never used on a magic card.

Block was always my favorite format, as well as the home of many of my favorite designs (Short Chain Rebels, White Control, Critical Mass, Batman). This seems like it is going to be the most fun + can qualify you for the NYCIS Heavy Play Championship!

What does Duren want?
$40mm per year guaranteed is quite a lot of money for a Center of Duren’s skill set. Does he want Joker money ($69mm)? He isn’t remotely Joker.
Meanwhile Wemby (same age + position) DPOY and #NBA Finalist, just gave $50mm back to the Spurs on his extension
