The general idea is that, contrary to the Reilly distribution of thirds, this style of forms from @/corkscrewcross has a strong U-shape jaw, an elongated midface, (2:1 the other thirds) and diminished cheek or jaw contours favoring a wedge-shaped maxila.

Those, particularly the "thirds", mainly convey the "cat-ness" that I'm going for, moreso than the sigmoid shape of the eyes and their inset by themselves. That's just how cats look! If you don't have the face dialed in you get Big Midna, which although nice isn't the target.

Hm...I haven't actually made a "diagram". I don't think most people would be interested in form that way, but the process of feeling it out might be useful to make as well as to share.
