I often tell people these random, magical occurrences happen in Atlanta more frequently than you think.
Sometimes it’s a peacock, sometimes it’s a dude dressed like a transformer walking down Boulevard, sometimes it’s an invisible car…

The late Rico Wade, Atlanta hip-hop pioneer, is immortalized through music he produced alongside Organized Noize. Outside his funeral this morning, @CAU marching band honored the music producer by playing some of the hits from his legacy career. 🎥 Ryon Horne, Jessica Horne | AJC
Voyager 1 is back! Great news from my favorite NASA program/mission. đź›°
Sounding a little more like yourself, #Voyager1.
For the first time since November, Voyager 1 is returning useable data about the health and status of its onboard engineering systems. Next step: Enable the spacecraft to begin returning science data again: go.nasa.gov/49PQ6bh
ALT After receiving data about the health and status of Voyager 1 for the first time in five months, members of the Voyager flight team celebrate in a conference room at JPL. About 15 members of the team sit around a long conference room and are shown cheering and clapping upon receiving the good news.
Rico Wade showed whole generations of ATL folks how to develop community, trust yourself, and shine light on everyone you meet.
(In real life, not on social media.)
We will miss him.

Epic night at Science Gallery Atlanta for the Earwax Records exhibition wrap party. The whole city showed up to show love. ⚡️
Gail was a friend. We would talk about books and culture and art…and she made the best charcuterie snacks by hand…she was so nerdy and sweet and would never let me win an argument about hip-hop.
I’m so very glad I had the chance to know her for a while.
