Big day as my baby girls head off on an Asian adventure. 6 days ago she turned 18 and today she flies to Vietnam where she will be volunteering for 4 weeks before heading to Japan for 2 weeks of exploring. All by herself. So proud of how brave she is! Have so much fun Olivia ❤️

Question for the travel experts. My daughter is travelling YYZ-NRT on AC and then has a 2 hour connection NRT-HAN on ANA. Booked on one locator and staying in transit. She does not have to do the Visit Japan web form to generate a QR code correct?

Out of candy at 7:45pm. The 2 haunted houses just down the street have brought in massive crowds tonight. Could barely get out of the driveway to pick my son up from work. Chaos. The dog may have a heart attack. Happy Halloween!

Our most recent equipment bid results are out and I’ve officially hit the stage of my career where I can hold any seat on any airplane in any base. So it comes down to seniority vs money. For now I will continue to stay on the A330 where I’m in the top half of the list.

ALPA Canada President @tim_f_perry responds to at least 18 carriers asking the federal government to extend their pilots' maximum flight duty period. “You need to hear us when we say, what’s being contemplated is potentially very unsafe”. Read more. cbc.ca/news/politics/air-tra…

5th trip to LHR and finally got the famous “follow the greens” clearance. How do they know where I’m going?! Gonna play tourist today since we had a nice early 6:30am arrival. Tower of London maybe? Then a pint or two and some supper with the FO and RP.

This is absolutely fucking disgusting. What a stain on the world that this behaviour is becoming normalized, accepted and cheered, even by a few.
This is what Musk and his Roman salutes have achieved. This is the USA, something unimaginable in this country.

Oktoberfest themed 50th birthday party for my friend at their cottage tonight. Will be kitted out in lederhosen and dreidels with steins of German beer, jägermeister, and goulash and spaeztle. 80s themed day tomorrow!

Early arrival into YUL from LHR and managed to catch the earlier deadhead home to YYZ. All for nothing as YYZ has flow control for some unknown reason, it’s CAVOK with calm winds. 🤦🏽‍♂️ 5 days off await then back to LHR on Tuesday.

Rainy day in London, so may as well check out some pubs in Brixton before meeting my cousin for dinner.

1) A trade deficit is not a loss 2) The deficit with Canada was $27B last year, not the $90B he keeps using 3) The deficit with Canada exists because American companies buy a lot of cheap Canadian oil 4) Uh, what
Trump: I do not want to lose $90 billion for the privilege of allowing Canada to have a healthcare system and other things that they shouldn't have. They spend our money!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The statement in the video misstates the US-Canada trade deficit as a $90B loss subsidizing healthcare; the goods and services deficit was $27B in 2025 and stems mainly from US purchases of Canadian oil while Canada's system is funded by its own taxes. usafacts.org/articles/us-ca… canada.ca/en/health-cana… realeconomy.rsmus.com/market-minute-… ustr.gov/countries-regi…

“Suspended…” What are these lower-than-low standards for cops? Most of us would likely be immediately fired from our jobs if this kind of behaviour came to light in our respective workplaces.

FYI Anko van der Werff and @SAS, firing elected union leaders for doing their jobs is illegal in Canada but despicable everywhere. @AirCanada @ALPACanada @swedishpilots alpa.org/press-room/2026/10/…
