The symbolism behind that logo peaked during the Gerald Ford administration. Meanwhile the team is off to the worst start in franchise history because we're still too attached to the way the Flyers used to be. Sorry but Ed is dead and the entire organization needs to move forward
I don't have much of an opinion on the Hometown Remix jerseys but if you thought they were going to change the logo on the front -- that was never going to happen out of respect for tradition, and most of all, Ed Snider.
I exchanged some texts with Jay Snider about this (story coming tomorrow). Changing the logo on the front "never came up" when he was team prez/GM. "Would have been unthinkable, so no one even suggested it."

And the worst thing about people coming for her being a female pilot is the complete disregard for the fact that there were two pilots in that plane, and she was the one radioing to ATC, which means she wasn't the one flying the plane in those moments. Pure hatred for women..
The issue is that Konecny is a very valuable player as a complementary piece on a cup contender. He is not a #1 option type of player just because the flyers need him to be.
