My most confident summer prediction was that we’d all be mad over Burries PT at the start of the season — and the fact that BB along with others like Kas and Dieng are just being held out of random preseason games because they have too many guys doesn’t make me optimistic.
Why is Brayden Burries a healthy DNP in a preseason game? That’s malpractice.

Had been looking at flying home for Brewer playoff games but looks like it’d be waaaaaaaay cheaper to see them in LA. I guess LA is an Angels town eh
The get-in price for Games 3 and 4 of the NLCS at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday and Thursday were $176 on Sunday morning. They have dropped about 50% tonight on @TickPick after the Dodgers lost to trail the Brewers 2-0. The NLCS get-in prices are now: Game 3 - $88 Game 4 - $89

What a night for Garrett Mitchell…and also Pat Murphy, who stuck with the guys that got him here and is getting repaid with another trip to the NLCS. This team!

Replying to @CamilleMonae
@CamilleMonae also raised this on pod last night: Kuz/JJJ being low-30s 3PT guys who want to occupy similar spaces can really gum things up. Not a coincidence Jenkins went to more 3-guard looks to get shooting & then a lot of 2-big looks to offset lack of size. Chain reaction.
I really dislike the Jaime-Kuz pairing for that starting lineup. I think having those 2 in the starting lineup together will make things a lot tougher than they need to be.

Fanbase would understandably love to see more Ament/Dieng from a developmental standpoint; they have more upside as shooters too, but that’s more projection than reality at this stage (which is fine given the low stakes this season). FWIW JJJ played about half his time as a small ball 4 last year.

Midsize expirings can be useful, but I still think waiving LeVert/slotting Nance into 2-way should be the default non-trade path to 15 guys. I’d guess Kuz buyout would be much more likely in Feb, partly because the roster has so little 3/4 depth at moment. Then again…whatever.
Will listen. After tonight I think I’d negotiate buyouts of LeVert and Kuzma. If a mid-season trade ‘presents itself’ the team still has the contracts/assets of Turner, Green and Herro to work with.

Shouts to @camezeir from CBS 58 for his Bucks coverage throughout camp including the game and presser tonight.
“I want to see Kel with Myles (together) a little bit more, definitely starts with on-ball with shift help before it gets to those guys… confusion on coverages and it starts with me… overall there were good moments, couple moments where we got overextended…” Taylor Jenkins on the front court combinations, and if he’d consider more of Myles Turner and Kel’el Ware on the court at the same time. Plus, how the #Bucks bigs played overall.

Lots of discussion about whether Jenkins might start Ware/Turner, but Sims/Ware are their two best OREB guys and we’re seeing why in some early bench mins. Throw in AJ/GTJ and this is basically the KPJ-maxing lineup — two deadeye shooters and two bigs crashing glass/lob threats.
