Everyone experiencing THAT moment on #TheLastOfUs for the first time…welcome to the trauma.
You say Hollywood lives in a bubble, but then censor things that happen on a daily basis? Also nothing wrong w/ being "faith based" but you can't talk about upholding certain values while still showing violence & murder. Idk if God would approve, just saying.
Angel Studios is banning on-screen sex, nudity, F-words and misusing the name of God in its movies moving forward.
“I think Hollywood generally kind of lives in a bubble. These are excellent craftsmen. They’re the best storytellers in the world. Hollywood has built the best storytelling infrastructure in the world. But at the same time, they’ve kind of drifted more and more away from the values-based audience that they used to serve,” studio co-founder Jeff Harmon told Fox news.
Angel Studios, known for films such as the hit “Sound of Freedom,” will also give its paying members a chance to vote on movies and TV shows to ensure that a majority of members approve of the content.

Goes without saying, but Patrick Stewart's best performance came in Logan. Returning to his iconic role playing Charles Xavier at the end of his life. Its a heartbreaking and tragic portrayal that should of earned him a best supporting actor nom.
Just the worst news, but what a career, what life. A true icon in every sense.
Patrick Stewart, who will be remembered most for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and as Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” films, has died at 86.

So Ridley not only killed Alien 5 that would have brought Ripley back, but has now killed the Romulus sequel too. Why are we still letting him run this franchise?

I get the skepticism, but unless its bad, Starfighter should be a big hit. The sole reason is going to be because of Gosling. His starpower is at max levels after Project Hail Mary and now he's front & center in a Star Wars movie. If its a true crowdpleaser it'll be huge.
BREAKING: Disney reveals it spent $226.5 MILLION filming the upcoming Ryan Gosling film @starwars Starfighter. That's more than The Force Awakens cost and it was the most expensive film ever. Quite a gamble given the recent performance of this franchise...

New Project Hail Mary steelbook with the full IMAX ratio is epic. Wish more movies shot for IMAX offered this option on physical.
Lot of talent jumped ship. Not surprised to see this happen.

Agreed Soderbergh is getting a lot of shade from people who clearly don’t know his work. Honestly you couldn’t ask for anyone better to come and help out in this situation.
Steven Soderbergh helped Christopher Nolan secure distribution for Memento.
He also helped Gary Ross by serving as second-unit director on The Hunger Games, filming much of the District 11 riot scene. Yes, that scene had Soderbergh's fingerprints all over it.
He's one of the biggest champions of fellow filmmakers in Hollywood. Put some respect on his name.
I really hope Reeves situation ends up being ok. Getting Soderbergh to help out with taking The Batman Part 2 across the finish line is pretty fucking cool.
If there is no second season than most of the shit Lanterns set up is pointless. Should've just done a movie and called it a day.
Peter Safran says they will officially decide on a potential Season 2 of ‘LANTERNS’ by the end of the year.
The second season is being determined based on if the writers room figure out a Season 2 worthy of moving forward with.
