If @Zoetis really had such confidence in Librela, why would they register the domain name "Librelakilledmydog.com?" Clearly, they didn't want someone else to take that name. Was registered in Sept. 2024 months before FDA "Dear Vet" letter went out.
Did a short item for @DealBook this morning on the word catastrophic popping up in the 10-Q that $GOOG filed last week. Remember: there are no accidents in SEC filings!
In today’s DealBook: @bernhardwarner on the cracks in the AI borrowing binge; tech donors dominate the U.S. midterms; a tax break for FIFA’s Infantino?; @footnoted’s Michelle Leder on AI’s scary new buzzword; and more. nyti.ms/4itZB6m
For example, @Anthropic risk factors grew by 30% between that June 1 DRS and yesterday's S-1. And the number of pages (excluding exhibits) grew from 253 to 313 over those 4 1/2 months. (2/2)
One of the interesting things about yesterday's @Anthropic filing is that there were 6 drafts filed with the @SECGov starting on June 1. All of those drafts became public yesterday and you can see track how the filing changed over the past few months. (1/2)
Ooops...meant to include the cover page image in my prior post on Anthropic's risk factors. I honestly can't recall seeing this in an S-1 before. What about you @herbgreenberg or @RealJimChanos?
Trying to think if I've ever seen a separate cover page in an S-1 for "risk factors" and coming up empty. Then again, with nearly 100 pages of risk factors, Anthropic's are larger than most!
What joy! My son's HS just sent out a flyer that lets him have a "real" investment banking or law firm experience in NYC this summer. Two weeks costs $13K! There's got to be a PE firm behind this BS. forefronteducation.com/produ…
What say you @AGRobBonta: this seems like a clear violation of CA law by @Doordash. If @NYCMayor was able to get $131.5m out of them for violating NYC law, how about going after them for violating CA AB 578?
That was Tuesday. Just spoke to yet another @Doordash supervisor who told me that geolocation showed the order was delivered correctly, despite the photo being a blue door. I asked if she was aware of AB 578 and she said she was. (3/4)
I contacted @Doordash that night to let them know the food had been delivered to the wrong address and was offered a $7 in-app credit. Then @RakeshSFNYC told me about CA's new AB 578 which requires full refunds for wrong orders. I called back, mentioned the law and waited (2/4)
Here's a fun little story about @DoorDash violating CA state law. On Tuesday night, I ordered dinner from 2 different restaurants. The food was delivered to the wrong address. Per the photo in the app, it was delivered to a blue door. My door is red. (1/4)
I won't pretend to know much about mining, but I do know a lot about SEC filings. Any idea how this is an 8-K given that the incident took place in July? #fridaynightdump sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edg…
Playing catch-up, but this was an interesting response by @MarkUyedaUS to @RobinWigg column in the @FinancialTimes about the SEC's quorum of one. The gentleman doth protest too much! ft.com/content/96b09d65-f6de…
Just spent 38 minutes on the phone with @DoorDash_Help "customer service". Dinner was delivered to wrong address and I had to send my kid looking for where it was delivered to and then spent 38 minutes on the phone with 2 different reps only to receive a $7 refund. #fail
The @SECGov ended the fiscal year on Wednesday and the numbers are in. Like past administrations, there was quite a bit of channel stuffing going on, with 7 litigation releases and 9 administrative proceedings filed on Sept. 30. More here: lnkd.in/p/gMspU2wV
Given the leak of Anthropic's S-1, I decided to have a little fun with Claude and ask what it thought about the disclosure.
Anyone want to explain to me what a "toilet preparation" is and why that is part of the $EL SIC code?
