I love this image so much because this dude was beaten like this for killing a little black girl by other blacks and not a single person will care they’ll just post it hoping no one looks up the context

You’re standing on a planet with molten lava at its core. Trees are turning sunlight into air you can breathe. Your heart is beating without you asking it to. There’s a moon in the sky and bugs that glow. This whole thing is absurdly beautiful.

Umbridge is the most hated character in the series because she is the quintessential example of what every young man has had to go through during the majority of their academic careers. Whiny, useless, pedantic pencil pushers that adhere to inane rules without merit

I said it before and I’ll say it again, one of the reasons why so many things aren’t as good as they used to be is that we fired people who cared and were good at their jobs and replaced them with people who aren’t good at their jobs
‘The Incredibles’ Director Brad Bird Says Disney Fired Him for Defending the Studio’s Original Creative Values “I was trained by the old guys or mentored by them. Those are the guys that I was amazed by when I got to Disney. The guys that were in charge after those guys left were the guys who basically had been there for 20 years, but they were not good enough to rise to the top... And I essentially got fired for sticking up for the stuff the old guys taught me to value.” -Brad Bird

Explain to me how the recently-resigned US Director of National Intelligence can publicly state, today, that the wars in both Iran and Ukraine cannot be ended by Trump, no matter how hard he tries, because the "deep state" basically won't allow it, and the response from pretty much everyone is...**crickets**. Is this something that everyone just knows and accepts? That the US, and potentially the fate of the world, is NOT in the hands of the "Commander in Chief" or even Congress or the Senate, or the State Dept. or the Justice Department. It's in the hands of a powerful group of unelected intelligence "types" who operate beyond oversight and behind the scenes. And they apparently want endless, destructive war.

NASA's first job, before it put a man in space, was to find the meal that leaves the least behind. The answer was steak and eggs, and it has been the launch breakfast for 65 years. The problem was the suit. A Mercury astronaut was sealed into a pressure suit, bolted into a capsule the size of a phone box, and left on top of a rocket for hours. He could not take anything off. There was no toilet, and no plan for one. So in July 1960 the Air Force handed the question to a nutritionist called Beatrice Finkelstein. She had to feed the man so he stayed strong, clear-headed and full, for as long as it took, on the least possible waste. She wrote a menu for the last 3 to 4 days before flight. High protein, low residue. Meat, eggs, very little else. Residue is the polite word for whatever the body cannot use and has to send back out. On her figures, beef and eggs produced almost none. The body took nearly all of it. On the morning of 5 May 1961, Alan Shepard sat down to steak and eggs, went out to the pad, and became the first American in space. It worked so well that nobody dared change it. John Glenn ate it. The crew of Apollo 11 ate it on the morning they left for the Moon. Shuttle crews ate it. Astronauts are superstitious, and this is the one ritual with a medical file behind it. Look at what that file says. The best funded engineers on earth needed a food that was nearly all nutrition and next to no waste, to fuel a man through the most demanding day of his life, and they did not pick porridge. Down here the same breakfast comes with a warning, and we are advised to swap it for the bran. NASA ran the test in 1960. The bran is the residue.

Two leftists die and go to Heaven. The first asks God, “God, did Russia interfere in the Brexit referendum?” God replies, “No, the British people just don’t like immigration.” One looks at the other and says “This goes higher up than we thought”
Andy Burnham becomes first PM to confirm Russian interference in Brexit referendum @campbellclaret and @RoryStewartUK's exclusive interview with @andyburnham on tomorrow's episode of Leading is out in full at midnight.

Buddy comedy where a clueless boomer gives outdated advice to a young spergy guy who follows it with disastrous results- getting arrested for trespassing when he tries to give his resume to a CEO, going viral on TikTok for being creepy at yoga class, etc.

Does anybody else feel like life never really went back to normal after 2020? And I’m not talking about masks, lockdowns, or any of the political debates. I mean the feeling of life itself. Everything technically returned to "normal." The stores reopened. The roads got busy again. People went back to work. Life kept moving. But something still feels different. The years seem to pass faster than ever. Friendships feel more distant. Conversations feel shorter. People seem more distracted, more exhausted, and less present. It’s hard to explain because nothing obvious is missing. Yet somehow it feels like we lost something important along the way. Life used to feel slower. More connected. More genuine. There was a sense of optimism, excitement, and possibility that’s difficult to describe now. Maybe we're all just getting older. Or maybe 2020 changed people in ways we're still trying to understand. I can't put my finger on exactly what was lost. I just know that life used to feel a lot more alive than it does today.

Remember the African who murdered an innocent Swedish soccer fan in Copenhagen this summer? He has just been sentenced to just 1 year in prison for this crime. The perpetrator has previously been sentenced for: • Multiple rapes • A series of violence against his girlfriend • Attempted murder (stabbing a knife in a mans chest) • Violent assault earlier this year. And he will soon be out again, and terrorize us further. Our Scandinavian system is helpless against such people. We must react to the threat and increase punishments, and stop the immigration of hyper-violent Africans.

"Cringe" has become a slur for sincerity, designed to kill joy and talent starting when we're children. Adults need to exorcise it just like any other schoolmarm control word.

“Professor, what do you know about racemixing?” “I don’t know what you’ve been reading, but this is very dark stuff, Tom. Racemixing is when one combines two races by miscegenation.” “And how does one miscegenate?” “I think you already know the answer to that, Tom.” “Interracial sex.” “Yes. Racemixing rips the genes apart. It's a violation against nature.” “Can you only hybridize once? For instance, isn't seven...” “Seven? Merlin's beard, Tom! Isn't it bad enough to consider sleeping with an Asian girl? To mix with seven races... This is all hypothetical, isn't it, Tom? All academic?”
