The 1890 article "The Right to Privacy" by Samuel Warren and Louis Brandeis was a direct response to the intrusive practices of the press (paparazzi today). They argued for a legal right to be "let alone" to protect them from circulation of gossip and unauthorized photography.

Please explain to me like i am the problem:
Eleven months ago, @cmwenda93 walked into Meridian Equator Hospital for what was meant to be a routine procedure. Eleven months later, we are still trying to understand how we got here and honestly, the more we learn, the more the questions pile up.
Christopher went in for an endoscopy, yet the post-mortem found no evidence that an endoscopy had been performed. A medical report reportedly recorded findings from that very endoscopy and stated that he had gastric ulcers, yet the autopsy found **no gastric ulcers and no gut ailment that explained his death**.
Then there is the propofol. We were told 20ml had been administered, and the invoice reflected 20ml, but a subsequent written medical report stated **10ml**. So which one is correct?
But this is the part that I genuinely cannot get my head around.
The consent documentation was reportedly signed **in the presence of an anaesthetist**.
That same anaesthetist was reportedly **out of town** and did not provide the service.
Yet that anaesthetist was also reportedly **billed for intubation** an intervention that happened during Chris's resuscitation.
So now we have to ask a very simple question: Who was present when that consent was signed?
If the document says it was signed in the presence of an anaesthetist who was not even in town, then who witnessed or signed the document?
Bcz Chris was being intubated during resuscitation. Are we seriously expected to believe that someone in the middle of a medical emergency was signing consent documents? Or was someone else signing? If so, WHO?
These are questions arising from the documents and evidence surrounding Chris's death.
The post-mortem established that Christopher died from hypoxia resulting from respiratory depression following an anaesthetic drug reaction. The DCI investigated and forwarded the file to the @ODPP_KE in April. NTV has now reported that the DPP requested a further medical opinion on whether the procedure should have proceeded given Christopher's elevated blood pressure and whether it was appropriate to proceed without an anaesthetist in the room.
So @ODPP_KE, where are we now?. Has that medical opinion been obtained? What exactly remains outstanding 11 months later?
And @KmpdcOfficial , how are these questions around consent, documentation, anaesthesia and professional conduct being addressed?
Meridian Equator Hospital, you maintain that your team acted within acceptable professional standards. Then please explain the discrepancies.
Because 11 months later, our family should not still be putting together the timeline of what happened to our brother.
We lost Chris, we should not have to become investigators too.
What happened? Who was there? Who signed what? When do the institutions mandated to give us answers actually do so?

Nearly 11 months after Chris Mwenda @cmwenda93 died following a medical procedure (Endoscopy) at Meridian Equator Hospital, @ODPP_KE and @KmpdcOfficial , where are we?
@ODPP_KE : The DCI forwarded the investigation file in April. The DPP sought an independent medical opinion on whether the procedure should have proceeded with Chris's elevated blood pressure, and whether it was appropriate to proceed without an anaesthetist in the room. Has that opinion been obtained? What is delaying a decision?
@KmpdcOfficial : Correspondence of case 1/2026 has gone unanswered, no hearing date has been communicated, and it you not even been guided on the preliminary requirements.
How many more letters, referrals and months must pass before these institutions account for the progress of a case involving someone's death?
Chris was entitled to safe medical care. As family, friends, LSK member, powerlifter, rugby, and taekwondo communities are entitled to answers. Justice delayed must not become justice denied. #JusticeforChris
