The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of two teachers of Techiman Senior High School following a viral video showing them assaulting a 17-year-old male student. The suspects, identified as 37-year-old Jerry Jones Owusu Bekoe, and 44-year-old Ameyaw Adusa, were arrested on November 1, 2026 and taken into custody to assist with investigations. Police preliminary findings indicate that the incident occurred on October 23 after the teachers allegedly confronted and assaulted the Form Three student over claims that he had attacked two Form One students.
