care, our stated priorities. When we say budgets are moral documents, do we mean it? Or is it a talking point? Parishes and dioceses have been doing more with less, maybe 815 can too.

caught up with the needs of the church. And we voted it down. We are addicted to governance and administration. It allows us to mask the decline the church is facing. Each year our mission priorities get cut while our governance and administration costs continue to grow.

We are so addicted to our structures even though they are killing the church. We are on path to close 1000 churches in the next decade and yet we keep doubling down on a corporate model of church.

It's beyond outrageous & absolutely unacceptable that any Jewish family, let alone more than 30, would have to relocate school districts over worries for their child's safety due to antisemitism. Where is the school board?!? Where is the political leadership?! cbsnews.com/sanfrancisco/new…

It is possible to be critical of the State of Israel and Hamas. All acts of violence fall short of God’s vision. The innocents in Gaza being killed is horrific and heartbreaking. I want peace, Israel wants peace. Hamas doesn’t.
