Untrained and untamed bond dog. I make up for my selection of great causes to back by rooting for shitty sports teams.

The only other time the White Sox clinched a playoff series at home? 1906, Game 6 of the World Series over the Cubs.

Super confused since I’ve been told Iran is winning by very serious Democrats
Iran’s national security adviser has warned that the rapidly deteriorating economy has plunged the country into one of the most difficult periods in its history.

NEW KFILE looking at James Talarico’s record on policing in 2020. Talarico told a youth group then calling for defunding police that it was "rich" that "defund the police" was "off limits" in political debate when Texas had spent decades defunding public schools and health services. Said, "Our system of policing is deeply broken. We must replace it with something new and something better," and asked about instead sending "highly-trained crisis interventionists," some for some emergencies.
In June 2020, he donated $2,500 to the Austin Justice Coalition, a group calling for defunding police, a donation he later defended. He also criticized Gov. Abbott's proposal to cut revenue to cities like Austin over local decisions to reduce police funding. In 2022, Talarico said that if the country took "just half of what we spent on wars, prisons, and policing" and spent it on education, health care, and jobs, "we could make prisons obsolete."
Talarico's campaign says he "did not call for and does not support defunding the police" and has voted to send billions of dollars to local law enforcement.

Assuming El Sayed is still a dual citizen with Egypt since saying this, does that present any legal issue when serving in the senate? i.e., does he have to give up his Egyptian citizenship?

Veep was a documentary
In Qatar, I met with the Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
There are so many things Qatar does to protect U.S. interests. They host our biggest military base in the region. They house 1000 Afghan refugees (that Trump refuses to let into the U.S.). They were key to getting the hostages out of Gaza. And they are mediators right now in the effort to end the war with Iran.
I thanked him for all of this. Qatar is and will remain an essential ally of the United States.
Of course, I was also candid with him, in particular regarding my deep concerns about the transfer of the luxury plane.
It was a very good, honest discussion.

Because the lab leak in 2019 the powers that be and social media censored us for asking about the lab and pushed nonsense about “wet markets” and “raccoon dogs” and never investigated it and worked to obfuscate the details of support for dangerous research in Wuhan
All we had to do was investigate what happened in Wuhan instead of help cover it up
But instead a massive amount of effort went into covering it up and censoring or even banning us for asking about the lab for years
Huge failure of our governments, social media and many scientists
Only a few dared speak out
