Fandom spaces have been infiltrated by people who want to be popular/ treated like influencers for their contributions as opposed to just people excited to be surrounded by other people who like the same thing they like and want to show them the cool shit they wrote.
and if I were to say this is in part a direct result of this movement to gas these authors up into thinking they’re gods and that their work is better/more correct/the TRUE direction or the original property that has them thinking and behaving like this 😭
so many fic writers of today truly would not survive in fandom spaces that existed 10 hell even 5 years ago it’s just insane out here
just remembered there’s an actual set picture out there of hudson as shane wearing an engagement ring on a chain around his neck…………………………..
I spent the afternoon clearing out my books app of old fics from old fandoms and also going through the hollanov fic I have downloaded that I might wanna reread and damn there’s some good shit in there
the last time they did a heated rivalry top tier auction that shit went up to $125,000 so 😭
