Tutkimusryhmämme on kehittänyt uuden analyysimenetelmän syövän täsmädiagnostiikkaan.
@WickstromLab @HelsinkiUniMed

BREAKING NEWS
The 2024 #NobelPrize in Physiology or Medicine has been awarded to Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun for the discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional gene regulation.
Happy to announce that this extremely important pilot project that has taken several years has been successfully completed! 🥳 Thank you @CSCfi & @HUS_fi for working together with us @HelsinkiUniMed @helsinkiuni to make this happen. The implementation of extensive use of this system is well under way.

This was a fun exercise and indeed it will be interesting to go back later to see what we missed 😬🧐 What I’m pretty certain about is that the future of mechanobio will be very interesting 🤩
Some of us were asked by @CellCellPress about the future of mechanobiology. In all likelihood, 20 years from now we'll see we were all wrong. Any thoughts? What did we miss?🤔🔮👇authors.elsevier.com/a/1j8Ml…
Meticulous lineage tracing of early human embryos shows unequal 2-cell embryo clonal contribution to epiblast, future foetus-forming cells. Congratulations @ZernickaGoetz @MZG_Lab
What is the origin of our body? Our paper @CellCellPress shows that when a human embryo is one day old and comprises just two cells, only one cell will create most of the fetus in addition to placenta, while the other cell will create placenta.
