Our first Azuki TCG regional is over, and this is part of the small team behind it. 300+ players traveled from all over the US. For the first regional of a new card game that's been out for a little over a month we were blown away... We had both pro players and new players (Azuki being their first TCG ever) placing high in the rankings. Anyone can pick this game up and compete. Ducky won our Invitational back in Jan and is now our first regional winner as well!! 🐐 One of my favorite moments was watching ppl trade and buy the participation cards illustrated by Yuka and YQ, artists from the Azuki community. Players just loved the art and wanted to collect which was really dope to see. The culture of Azuki is all around celebrating our passion for hand drawn art, collectibles, and community. That's the culture we continue to build upon as the Azuki TCG expands. Even the mechanics of the game come from the Azuki world: taking the red bean, moving from the Alley to the Garden, using the Gate. Next month the manga starts releasing chapter by chapter, and you’ll see more of how it all connects. We’ve spent a lot of nights and weekends trying to make a great game and show up for the community around it. We’re still learning, listening, and improving with every event. Having everyone with us on that journey means a lot. Really proud of this team. Grateful for every player, artist, judge, organizer, and supporter who helped us get here. Can’t wait for the next regional 👀
