This City team reminds me so much of Arsenal of yesteryears. Two-three passes from defence to attack and the ball is in their net. Their whole defensive unit is non-existent.
See?
At the end of the presser, Mr attention to detail congratulated one of our press correspondents, @TomCantonMedia who just returned from paternity leave on his new born
“Tom, Congratulations eh, it’s a girl yeah?” Tom confirms. Then he goes “Good, I could never make one…only boys” 😂❤️
He is becoming endearing to the press.
Not like he needs their validation but rivals better prepare for this guy's domination. It's going to be a long haul.
What happens to the Northernmost North when this people throw their weight around?
What does an average man from Kano, Kaduna, Bornu or Yobe stand to lose if they go on & identify as middle belt?
What does the commoner & local communities in this "middle belt" stand to lose?
When it's time, we'll all understand what the upset is really about.
Politics has a way of exposing people. Take former CDS Musa (rtd) for instance. When he was in active service, he enjoyed the admiration and support of Nigerians from across board because he was thought to be detribalised.
When Badaru “resigned” from his defense minister position, Musa was touted to be the best to succeed him by Nigerians from all divides. Arguably, one of the firsts from Nigerians—agreeing with one another on a certain thing. As expected, CG Musa started talking and appearing like a typical Nigerian politician and Nigerians liked him even more. I wouldn’t say it’s all talk and no action. I’m in no position to determine that.
Fast forward to months later, unexpectedly, politics helped demystify the big man. Started making unguarded utterances, obviously to curry up ethnic support and identity. Again, I’m not saying public figures shouldn’t identify with their ethnic nationalities. The constitution guarantees freedom of association. But loyalty should first be to the Nigerian state which was what gave CG Musa the platform and trust of Nigerians across board in the first place, not his infinitesimal ethnic nationality.
Today, CG Musa is seen in the company of ethnic chauvinists and religious bigots from the North or what they call “Middle Belt” Nigeria (whatever that confusionist contraption means), to see the president, probably at his instance, or the president’s request. It’s the electioneering period. All manner of support is deemed necessary. Again, I don’t give two nickels about what group decides to be glorified data boys (or men, in this case). Even the revered alter of God has been desecrated by politicians. So nothing is new.
That’s me digressing.
Anyway, CG Musa has gone from being a hero as the theatre commander in Maiduguri which has seen to the neutralisation of insurgents and cutting off their supplies and threats, to their pushing to the brink and resort to hitting soft targets in isolated areas and even their eventual decimation in the city, to now a civilian life in the brink of making rubbish his sterling records in the military. Perhaps the problem isn’t politics. Perhaps it’s an innate thing. Politics only help reveal the prejudices people deeply held for decades and CG Musa is the most apt example of that.
Consider yourself updated.
@SaboSerdeeq
My own is for everyone of them to keep delivering project after project.
I'd he maintains this energy, by the time he's done in 7 years time, Ogun State would have appreciably improved in infrastructure.
I want him finishing and standardising all state roads linking Lagos.

Is the middle belt supposed to be nonexistent?
What's the outrage about.
Don't they have a right to identify as they wish?
What's are you upset about? What's the big Idea?
You always come across being childish when you project you the opposition as the entire North. 😂 Stop being a clown.
Are there no Northerners in the current APC?
Does the APC not have majority of your governors?
It's not your fault. It's those who rates you that are clowns.
