Besides the main characters having distinct playstyles, I’m working on unlockable armor variations with different stats (and sometimes even unique abilities). I’m currently testing a simple one that trades mobility for strength. Wishlist Exobrave on Steam! (Link in profile!)

Despite my feelings about its demo, I’m very glad to see Belmont’s Curse getting good reviews. Can’t wait to check out the full release later this week. opencritic.com/game/20804/ca…

Saw the new Resident Evil movie and I really liked it. Surprisingly funny. Loved the ending. Didn’t think it was scary at all but it was awesome.

The cover was indeed made with AI since YouTube now recommends it. I’m trying it out to see how it performs versus my regular approach. In either case, no human ever had a chance to be hired to do it.

Played the Castlevania Belmont’s Curse demo this morning and… I don’t think it’s going to help game sales. Some demos convince you to buy a game or hype you up about a game you already were excited about, while others make you question whether you’ll buy it at all.

For me, the demo did not hype me up at all. Is the gameplay decent? Yeah, but given the developer that’s expected. It’s not great though. But the story and voice acting? 😫 Cringe at best. For me, the game went from “automatic day one buy” to “wait and see.”

Even if the first Wo Long didn’t hit for you, you should try the demo for Wo Long 2 today before it becomes unavailable on 9/30. I think the second one is significantly more fun.
