I just watched a reel about this on IG. His name is Javits Frimpong and he wad only 15, and was shot on his way to school by the students who'd been bullying him for being an immigrant. His mother is still in Ghana and is so distraught she says she refuses to believe he's gone.

so a young Ghanaian boy was bullied in the Bronx and he was eventually shot and killed. literally was such a quiet kid and he came to America less than a year ago. His dad has been in America for the past 26 years. xenophobia is genuinely despicable. I’m sick to my stomach.
