One day after the encampment on Ave K & 20th St was cleared by the city, the space is still empty but tents and people’s belongings remain on Avenue K, some in people’s front yards. @CKOMNews

Breaking: The encampment in Saskatoon is being cleared this morning. A wall of police — with one side of the encampment now fenced off — is making its way across the field where the encampment is at 20th St & Ave K, clearing people and their belongings as they do. @CKOMNews

No.
They would be better off. Alberta and Saskatchewan should separate too.

#skpoli #sask Trump asked about potash and Belarus “Belarus has a lot of potash, and our farmers need good prices, and we want to get a lower price in Canada. We'll continue to go with Canada, but Belarus would like to sell it for a much lower price.”

More than 40 countries - Canada and its allies - have sanctions against Belarus for supporting war criminal Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Buying blood potash from Belarus is supporting Russian aggression. It’s wrong and it doesn’t make sense. All of that potash has to be shipped first through Russia, then across the ocean, then across the US to mid-western farmers. Does anyone believe Belarusian blood potash shipped through Russia is going to be more affordable, more sustainable or more ethical than potash shipped from Saskatchewan - right here in North America?

The latest from me with the help of @ZieverinkAbby As Daniel Woodley was raking the junk out of his yard, he pulled a sock out of the earth. “I didn’t really think much of it till I picked it up, and all the bones fell out of it,” he said. cjme.com/2026/06/18/the-bone…

We have learned that information has been shared online regarding alert messages that are only to be shared internally. The purpose of these messages is to ready our staff and close partners in the event of a potential issue or event at the airport that may necessitate the activation of our emergency operations centre (EOC). Earlier today there was a non-credible threat made against the airport. The alerting software provides a pre-scripted message to our staff on the nature of the concern. These messages are not intended for the public and should not have been published online. We want to assure those coming to YQR today that there was no event and the airport’s operations are normal. As per their protocol, RPS takes these threats very seriously and will be investigating further.

I'm in court today, expecting to hear the sentencing for the man who killed Misha Pavelick in 2006. He was found guilty by a jury last fall of second-degree murder. Now the justice is going to decide whether he'll be sentenced as an adult, or a youth - he was 17 at the time
