G-BPOM departed this morning with low cloud, but that’s aviation: adapting, overcoming, flying safely.
By the end of the flight, skies cleared and the aircraft is back, ready for students.

Our aircraft G-SELB came back from its Annual Service yesterday, in some beautiful early spring sunshine. Back to Humberside via the East Coast, and did an orbit of Scarborough Castle. What a great day for a flight, fantastic to have G-SELB back, and to see both aircraft busy.
One of the many joys of holding a Private Pilot’s Licence is the perspective it gives you. Familiar places suddenly feel extraordinary again.
Here’s Malham Cove in the Yorkshire Dales. Most people stand at the bottom and look up.
As a pilot? You get to look down. ✈️

Just before Christmas, Alex Walker was our latest student to complete their training and gain their Private Pilots Licence. Congratulations to Alex and what a fantastic Christmas present!
After some pretty miserable weather over the last weeks today was, once the frost had cleared, a fantastic day for flying. Lots of aircraft in the air this afternoon as BPOM made its way over for its Annual Service ~ back at the end of the month.
It is looking like a fantastic day for flying. These Autumn days, the clear air and fantastic views make them quite special.
