This image is real but did not win a National Geographic photo of the year award. Photographer Beverly Joubert has confirmed it received no such prize, which Nat Geo does not offer in that form.

We don’t need AI, what we need is the ability to turn a PDF back into a word doc without the formatting looking like it survived a plane crash.

One of my favourite bowlers
🇿🇦 FANIE DE VILLIERS TURNS 62 TODAY 🔥
Fanie de Villiers turns 62 today, and most South Africans still know him for one morning in Sydney in January 1994, when he took 6/43 to bowl Australia out for 111 and win a Test by five runs.
What fewer people know is what he has done since. His brother is deaf and so is his daughter, and the charity he founded, Hear, pays for cochlear implants for South Africans who cannot find the R500 000 an implant can cost.
He rode 2 600 km from Cape Town to Pretoria for R800 000 of it, and sat on top of a floodlight tower at Centurion for another R189 000.

Depending on the pin placement at the Green Zone golf club's short par-3 sixth hole, golfers tee off in Sweden but putt in Finland. And if the hole is cut across the border, your tee shot could land an hour later than when you hit it.
(Finland is an hour ahead of Sweden.)

Between the nor'easter and Jaxson Dart’s injury, the get-in price for today’s Titans-Giants game at MetLife is just $7 — down from $130 before Dart got injured during Monday Night Football.
