Today our @IS34 7thGr #STEM Ss tested their bridge designs & calculated their efficiency ratings! The best bridge today was Warren Truss that held 32,205g (aka 71lbs)!!! This has an efficiency rating of over 600%! Absolutely a blast & great to see everyone’s hard work pay off!!

Our @IS34 @NYTalons Alpha Esports team is getting ready for todays @PlayVALORANT scrims with some #AimLab practice! Our team member Joey Wong had a Gridshot score of 55,998 score with 94% accuracy!!! Amazing improvement!! #ESports #trainingday

Today was our first afterschool @IS34 UAU #STEM meet up! Today our #makers started with creating basic I/O controllers for playing Pac-Man using @makeymakey! Next week we’ll be working on advanced controllers using spring switches! Great job everyone!!

We can’t wait! @gears_ms & I are excited as well to see what we can create with the team! After yesterdays meeting we worked on making parts of Maglev more streamlined & are 3D printing bases for the kids trains. After 7 iterations we’re getting close!! @IS34 @DrMarionWilson

Our @IS34 6thGr #STEM Ss did an AMAZING 🤩 job today! Each group created a straw #rocket that’s 5.5” long w/ a weight of 1g and 3 Delta wings. Their goal was to calculate the trajectory (using the rocket angle + PSI) needed to have their rocket pass through all 3 rings! @pitscoed
