The attack on Binance didn't start at 20:05 UTC on 29 October. It started about 36 hours earlier 🤯
The attacker's wallet was funded through Tornado Cash. A test drainer was deployed in the early hours. The contract used in the attack went live more than four hours before the first funds moved.

Binance’s latest proof-of-reserves snapshot, dated October 31, shows user BTC holdings increased by 3,614 BTC, or 0.52%, to 692,187 BTC. User ETH holdings decreased by 144,217 ETH, or 3.80%, to 3,654,919 ETH; USDT holdings fell by 2,544,682,319 USDT, or 7.95%, to 29,483,062,742 USDT; and BNB holdings declined by 401,669 BNB, or 0.93%, to 42,638,276 BNB.
