Fact:
No Canadian has ever travelled to another country and pretended to be an American, but everyday in every country on earth, thousands of Americans try to pass themselves off as Canadians.
Why? Because people hate the U.S. and Canada is the MOST respected in the world 🇨🇦
Former Canada Prime Minister Jean Chrétien: "I have message for American friends...never mistake our generosity for weakness. Never mistake our tolerance for lack of determination. And never, never mistake our kindness for softness...We bow to no one."

Canada quietly built its own restaurant giants in North America
1. Cactus Club Cafe
2. Earls Kitchen + Bar
3. JOEY Restaurants
4. Moxies
5. The Keg
6. Browns Socialhouse
7. Jack Astor's
8. Kinton Ramen
9. Tap & Barrel
The wild part? A lot of Canadians don’t even realize these are Canadian brands.
From Vancouver to Toronto, we’ve built restaurant chains that can compete with anybody. 🇨🇦

Trump has been foaming at the mouth about Canada ever since Carney walked away from the negotiations. 😂
Tariffs, Threats, New demands, More statements, Lake Ontario, More attacks.
At some point, you have to ask, If you have the upper hand, why do you sound this rattled?
Maybe America has all the leverage.
Maybe Canada is making a terrible mistake.
But watching him rant away with this much agitation doesn’t exactly scream “I’ve got everything under control.” 😂
Sometimes the way you react to someone tells us more about how much they matter to you than anything you say about them.
🇨🇦 TARIFF PROOF: BUY CANADIAN 🇨🇦
Trump wants to tariff Canadian products? Fine.
Let’s make his tariffs work against him.
We don’t need to replace everything overnight. But we can start choosing Canadian whenever there is a Canadian option.
🥛 Dairy: Gay Lea, Natrel, Lactantia, Agropur
🥩 Meat: Maple Leaf, Schneiders, Olymel, Piller’s

One important rule: Canadian brand does NOT automatically mean Canadian made. Check the label. Look for “Made in Canada” or “Product of Canada” when that’s what you’re trying to buy.
We don’t have to boycott everything American.
We just need to stop assuming American is the only option.
Every Canadian dollar we keep circulating through Canadian businesses supports Canadian workers, Canadian manufacturers and Canadian communities.
Trump wants a trade war?
Let’s show him how strong the Canadian market can be without depending on the United States for everything. 🇨🇦

The United States and Canada have been friends, partners, and allies for more than 150 years across 32 presidential administrations. And now, because of the arrogance, incompetence, and ego of the current occupant of the White House, that relationship is being driven straight toward a cliff. It’s a failure of leadership on a scale that’s hard to overstate.

Canada doesn’t need tariffs. It needs an export tax.
Here’s what the US actually cannot replace on short notice:
Potash. Canada supplies 85-88% of what American farmers put on their fields. Russia, the next largest source, covers maybe 9% of that gap. Squeeze this and it’s not a trade story, it’s a farm input cost story, felt at the grocery store within a season.
Uranium. Canada supplied 33% of the uranium that fueled US reactors in 2024, more than any other country on earth. The US is trying to expand nuclear right now to keep up with AI power demand. There is no faster way to sabotage that plan than choking the fuel supply.
Crude oil. Canada is over 60% of US crude oil imports, up from 41% a decade ago. Midwest refineries are built specifically to run heavy Canadian crude. You don’t just redirect that to Saudi light sweet overnight. Gas prices would feel it fast.
Nickel. Canada provides roughly half of US nickel needs. America has exactly one operating nickel mine. One.
Softwood lumber. About 74% of US softwood lumber imports are Canadian. Homebuilders are already choking on tariffs pushing housing costs up. Cut the supply and you make the affordability crisis worse, guaranteed.
Electricity. Ontario and Quebec feed power straight into the US grid. Border states don’t have a backup plan for that capacity sitting in a drawer somewhere.
None of this is about hurting Americans for spite. It’s about pointing out that the “just tariff Canada” strategy assumes Canada has no leverage. That’s false. These are inputs the US cannot substitute in months, some of them not for years. An export tax on any of these turns the pain asymmetric fast, and Washington knows it, which is exactly why potash and uranium got added to the US critical minerals list once this became obvious.
Trade wars run on the assumption the other side has no cards. Canada has cards. It’s just never been willing to actually play them.

The Suzuki, Caufield, Slafkovsky, and Hutson contracts are going to be looked at as some of the absolute best in the entire league, if they aren't already.
A 50-goal scorer, under $8M until 2031.
A 100-point (soon) scorer, under $8M until 2030
A 30-goal, 70+ point winger, 21 years old and still growing, under $8M until 2033
A potential point-per-game defenceman, calder winner, under $9M until 2024.
Absolutely insane business by the Habs.

Trump spent months calling NATO obsolete.
Threatening Canada with the 51st state. Slapping tariffs on allies.
Demanding Europe pay up or lose protection.
Insulting world leaders to their faces.
Abandoning Ukraine.
Calling Germany weak and France irrelevant.
Now he needs them.
France: no.
Germany: no.
Norway: no.
Canada: never.
Japan: officially no.
Switzerland: airspace closed.
You don’t spend a year burning every bridge and then call for backup when the building is on fire.
$21 billion spent. 14 Americans dead. Oil at $102. The Strait mined. Taiwan surrounded. Baghdad evacuated. NATO threatened with a “very bad future.”
The allies didn’t abandon America.
America spent a year telling them to leave.
They listened.
Never stop connecting the dots.

Building in the US is about to get VERY expensive if there are 100% tariffs on Canadian softwood lumber. Farming in the US is going to be VERY expensive with 100% tariffs on Canadian potash — TARIFFS are a TAX paid by the consumer.
