A Sunday thought. 🍂
Ginnan's name means ginkgo. 銀杏
The ginkgo is one of the oldest trees on earth. It outlived the ice ages, and some even survived Hiroshima. Every November in Japan, its leaves turn pure gold and whole streets start to glow.
It never rushes. It doesn't ask for attention. It just stands there, steady, and makes everything around it a little brighter.
That sounds a lot like a certain 15-year-old cat in Sakura. 🤍
This week so many of you shared your cats, your memories and your kind words. Thank you. That's what this community is for.
Wherever you are today: slow down, hold your pet a little longer, and send some warmth to Sakura.
From the streets to business class. 🐈✈️🥂
Every cat deserves this VIP treatment! ❤️
$GINNAN is here to change lives, one paw at a time.
Real community. Real love. Real impact. 🐾

Kabosu Mama shared an update about Ginnan on her blog.
She isn’t asking anyone for anything. So we won’t ask anything of her either. No tags, no noise. Just quiet and humble support, from a distance.
The one thing she mentioned: her 2027 calendars are still available, and she can ship them while she stays home with Ginnan.
If you’d like to support her, this is a gentle way to do it:
Desk calendar: amazon.co.jp/dp/B0HN479WXT
Wall calendar: amazon.co.jp/dp/B0HN483HD3
Her blog: kabochan.blog.jp/archives/56…
We’ll buy a few calendars ourselves too. They’ll go to whoever writes the warmest words for Ginnan. Reply below with your message for him. We’ll choose the ones that touch us most and send them a calendar.
Thank you, everyone. Gently, for Ginnan.

Look at that face. 🥰
Cats have a way of choosing their people. They curl up next to you on the hard days and act like they did you a favour.
Ginnan is going through a tough time right now, so let’s do something for him together. Share a photo of your cat here. The one next to you right now, or the one you still miss.
Let’s fill this chat with cats who are loved. #ForGinnan

And to the artists in our community:
Create your own Ginnan. A drawing, a painting, a design, a meme. Whatever comes from the heart.
Post it with #ForGinnan and tag @ginnanog. We'll share every piece we see, so the whole timeline fills up with love for him.
