no hate to op but genuinely none of the people asking this question are old enough/knowledgable in fandom history enough to remember WHY fic drives exist. they’re literally created to avoid fic purges from decimating fundamental texts to the fandoms

am I too woke of a fic writer to be a little conflicted about fics being downloaded to personal drives without the author’s knowledge and shared/read without the author gaining any site engagment or is this something I should brush off and get over /gen

He clearly sees Buck as the Adult in the room. And of course Buck will figure out the dad stuff soon. But I wonder how Theo thinks about his parents vs current situation. Did his parents make him clean up? Is he constantly waiting for Buck to tell him it’s time to clean?

I would love to explore if all the mess makes Theo a bit anxious at times and if he’s constantly looking at Buck for comforting stability but only gets offered more chaos and fun in return because that’s what he thinks Theo needs.
