The key part of this email isn't the question but the constraints in which they want the answer I can't tell you how many times I've seen an update that just says "I'm busy" with no substance What you *accomplished* is what matters, not just what you worked on Why? Because a clear outcome is what drives the team, company, or project forward

You can just prompt things 👌🏼
what a time to be alive you can just prompt for apps you can just prompt for deep research you can just prompt for music you can just prompt for websites you can just prompt for podcasts this is just the beginning next step is to do all of this at the speed of thought

Really appreciated this piece from @themgmtconsult - especially antifragility The biggest takeaway I have for my own projects is building systems that are able to weather the storm of chaos and ambiguity. Easier said than done, but acting and iterating to figure it out is a big goal of mine for 2025

Definitely worth exploring the multipliers available to us and how they can both positively and negatively effect our lives - AI - hyper focus - social engineering These and much more can be used to get ahead, but it's good to ask the question "at what cost?"
They are usually extreme outliers who are hyper-focused on one thing to the extent that all other aspects of their life are a shitshow

I know productivity talk is well saturated, but Jon has made it more interesting (and enlightening) to me about how to actually use GTD in a tool agnostic way Highly recommend watching/listening to both parts of this. One of my big takeaways from this episode was you can have a projects folder with a plan which you can then migrate to your next actions as you go as a PM I love my project plans and having everything in one place, so hearing this got all the right juices flowing Appreciate Jon delivering GTD in a novel and approachable way 🤘🏼
What's that? You want to see two grown men talk about personal organization systems for another 40 minutes? I thought you'd never ask. Part 2 with the great and powerful @NeelBParekh is up. Subscribe to Lazy Leverage on any podcast app.

Though not all books could be a blog post, it's nice to have an analog Readwise option that reminds you of key ideas you can use in everyday life cc @andrewglynch

Listening to @sydlis and @stephsmithio had a good sound bite regarding habing the "internet skillset" that with all the tech advancement we have seen this year is even more important to develop The internet skillset used to just be can you Google something and get good, specific results and work without using your mouse Now it's becoming: - can you prompt ai to get you a good or great answer or draft - can you glue tools together to streamline a process - can you map your workflow and figure out where it can be improved The list goes on, but developing that skillset seems like a good habit to keep going into 2025

Experiment I'm trying: Most products are packed with hundreds of testimonials don't do it for me. (I'd bet most haven't even used the product). When I relaunch my community, I’m limiting it to 5-7 testimonials/case studies. These will come from people who have actually used the product I'm selling and got real results. No long, flashy 3,000-word sales page with vague/fake social proof or selling dreams to get you to buy. It’ll take more time and effort, but feels right. If I can’t help 5-7 people get results, I won’t sell it and it's back to the drawing board. Will share results.

The most common advice I’ve heard from companies using AI well have nothing to do with prompting Instead, they’ve found cleaning up their data for AI was the highest ROI work they could do to make it 10x better when using AI to analyze it

AI enables us more than ever to explain our problems, no matter how niche or vague, and get to potential solutions without feeling like we're stuck The default should be describing your problem and letting the conversation help you work through it 🤘🏼
Replying to @roguewealth
I'm not joking. That's quite literally what most of my prompts look like. Describe problem, ask for solution, thank the thing.

Of the companies I've worked at, the best ones are relentless at 1. Understanding the metrics that matter 2. Holding people accountable for improving those metrics The more the above is reiterated, the more visible improvement I've seen
Replying to @DellAnnaLuca
5) What gets discussed, and not merely measured, gets improved. Collecting metrics won't improve a process unless those metrics are discussed in a way that makes it clear that people won't be let off the hook until they improve (see #2: people believe you up to your consistency)

The caveat: Unless you're in a position to enforce the accountability, it's difficult for your group to take this seriously So the pre step to this is selling the enforcement of accountability to improving metrics to the people who have the authority to do so
35
Biggest pet peeve of work email: Vague subject lines If I'm browsing through my inbox and see something like "Metrics" or "2024 milestones" I'm immediately going to skip it because I don't know what or why I'm needed

Simple tools for productivity I didn't learn until my 30s: Offline mode in outlook Don't want constant Outlook notifications while working remotely? Just work offline

Are you a solopreneur or service-based business who wants to leverage AI and automation (but don’t know how or what’s possible)? If this sounds like you, I’d love to chat (no tech skills required). This is NOT a sales call. In exchange for 30 minutes of your time, I’m offering a 45-minute where you can ask me anything about topics such as: → Practical ways to use AI/Automation for your solo business → Help you get unstuck (workflow design, lead generation, content repurposing) → Sales ($10M+ including biz and previous jobs) as an introvert → Building scalable and efficient systems (without hiring expensive agencies or implementing complex systems) If I don’t know the answer, I’ll do my best to find out after our call or share resources. Note: This isn’t for you if you’re still figuring out your niche or not generating consistent revenue. Sorry A bit about me and my experience: → Ran an automation agency for 3 years and sold it 4 years ago → I've worked with my dream creators and brands raking $20 mil in annual revenue → Started creating content two years ago and earned $320K (70% from consulting, 100% inbound): (Not all turned into clients, ofc). Without, • Going viral • Being the best writer • Having 100K+ followers • Engagement pods or paid ads (Current: 20K followers across social and email). If you’re interested, book a call for this (link below). I truly appreciate you. 🙏 📌 LIMITED to FIRST 10 People

Last year, I sold an Airtable database for $7K to help an agency and its team manage their content. You probably don’t have a team of 20+ writers to manage, but repurposing and distribution is something we as ‘creators’ must all do. But it isn’t easy. And why I’m excited to create this free email course for you. More details tomorrow. Can’t wait to share what we have in store 😁 - @SachinRamje @christinetrac1
