It’s still AI. It’s still Twitter. It’s still Lake Ontario. It’s still the Kennedy Center. It’s still the Gulf of Mexico. It’s still the Department of Defense. And Donald Trump is still a rapist and a pedophile.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

I know way too many American no longer care about this, but I’ll never stop reminding them of this: Donald Trump is EVERYTHING you teach your children NOT to be. He’s cruel, ignorant, & lawless, he’s a bully, a coward, a cheat, an extreme narcissist, & a pathological liar. You’d never work with him, you’d never work for him, you’d never want any woman you cared about involved with him. He’s a horrible human being. Shame on us for electing him again.

Warren Buffett, "I could end the deficit in 5 minutes," he told CNBC. "You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election. The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971...before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure. I am asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise. In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around. *Congressional Reform Act of 2019* 1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office. 2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 7/1/19. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term's), then go home and back to work. If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive the message. Maybe it is time. THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!! If you agree with the above, pass it on.

It's the most powerful unseen force in our lives. It turns the improbable into the inevitable. Those who take advantage of this force end up WAY ahead of those who don’t. I'm talking about… Serendipity. Here’s the key to unlocking its power: When you DO little things that are outside of your comfort zone, your *surface area* for serendipity increases. The odds of good things happening go up. Some examples: —Introduce yourself —Try something new —Cultivate your curiosity —Explore your world —Raise your hand —Actively listen & ask questions —Hang out in buzzy places —Take a baby step on an idea —Be friendly & enthusiastic —Say hi to your crush —Be vulnerable —Reconnect with old friends —Go out of your way to help others —Break your normal routines —Ask for help —Write (and post on X) In general, GO FIRST—don’t wait for things to happen, *make* them happen. It’s a mindset. Let’s gamify it: Think of these actions as “dots”. The more you do, the more dots you collect. Over time the dots begin to connect in ways you never expected. THAT’S serendipity. And here’s where it gets really powerful: Each new dot isn’t just one new possible connection, it’s EXPONENTIALLY more (for you math geeks it’s n-factorial). Over the long run, people who consistently bias toward DOING are 1000X more likely to have good things happen to them than people who don’t. We call it “luck” but it’s really the inevitable result of thousands of little actions. What seems like a happy accident is actually the result of things you did days, months, or years in the past. Guess what? RIGHT NOW you’re using one of the greatest serendipity machines ever created. I started posting here on X about 5 years ago. At first, nothing happened… but over time the compounded effect of thousands of posts, comments, DMs made my surface area MASSIVE. It changed my life. So go ahead, create a dot... ...by liking & reposting this post. (You see what I did there? )
