A wonderful message from Zoe’s mum. Zoé is a 14-year-old student who joined the Girls Into Coding Community a couple of years ago. She has a strong interest in activities which have been traditionally male-dominated: football is her first love, but also STEM! She is a Chelsea FC Academy Player (U14s), captains the Kent U14s football team this season (2023-24), and was recently selected in the England U15 Schoogirls' official Squad where she plays as a forward. ⚽️ At Girls Into Coding, we love to celebrate the achievements🎉 of our community members and see them flourish as they get involved with the Girls Into Coding mission on several levels. In Zoe's case: ✅ She's participated in virtual & face-to-face workshops ✅ Provides valuable feedback & insights to help shape the GIC offering ✅ Eloquently delivered a talk accompanied by a Q&A session during a GIC event ✅ And has even assisted the Girls Into coding team through mentoring & supporting other girls.
